A frightening thought: Seattle does agree to the contract and signs Hutchinson. Now our Vikes will have all of this extra $$$ and no one worth a damn to spend it on.

relax, after seattle wins the ruling there not going to match the offer.hutchington has informed them he doesn't want to play there and 2 they just went on a shopping spree because of it. the league needed to pursue this thing to let everybody league wide know no funny business. he'll be in purple monday evening. i can't continue informing you people how many times do i have to tell you everything is good. to many negative fans.most of your concerns would go away if you started doing your homework.ty brad.

You better be right childress. A lot of viking fans will be on your ass if your not. I would like to see it myself but, if it falls through, I'll be O.K. I have said in other forums, big name players, big money, who cares! Give me a guy who wants to play the game any day over a guy who just wants the money. I don't know enough about Hutch to comment on that but, I hope it all works out for the Vikes!

We can lose the arbitration but than seattle has spend big they did not want to spend for a player that does not want to play for them it was a win win for the vikes linebacker are really strong in this draft class why pay the big money? Our new QB coaches # 1 that moved him up to the nfl was Marcus Vick check it out on the web site under QB coach He will know Vick inside out Makes me wonder what Daunte smelled? Vick would be late 2 or 3rd round pick get ready you never know what will happen next maybe even Joey harrington

Marcus Vick is not ready for the NFL! He only played 1 full season at VT, and when he faced a solid defense(Miami), he crumbled. He's got the maturity level of a 15 year old, pretty convenient for his taste in females.

Not to worry MN fans... The Seahawks have successfully got Walter Jones to re-work his contract for next year so they can match the contract…. TD Seahawks!

Could be wrong, but I thought the arbitrator stated that Seattle had to honor the contract offer as it was stated and signed at the time of presentation, prior to the contract restructure of Walter Jones.

Will you stop being the prototypical viking fan now. We won the arbitration. Its not bad luck--it's called life. We have had a lot of good luck, just a long time tradition of poor coaching ... except now we have a great prospective coach. We have young talent..building a good off line--which we haven't had in a while, and a good core of def that played fairly well considering they were on the field twice as much as the turnover bound offense. Try thinking about possibilities and not dissapointments--it's what makes being a fan fun, not depressing.
