Visanthe Shiancoe's said "I'm trying to have a little sense of humor about it, but there's a serious side of it, too, because with the kids. You don't want any kids seeing that."

See that?! I guess he means what was shown on the raw video of capture shots. Geeze Louise. It was really strange to have Ziggy there with Brad and then Visanthe with his thingy hanging in the background. It's not Visanthe's fault but instead the team choach and owner who couldn't wait an extra few minutes for everyone to get decent. Ziggy should compensate Visanthe for the embarrassment. He and the press, invaded the player's privates space and unfortunately for Shiancoe, he was the one left HUNG out, ah,...left swinging in the wind, so to speak. Give him something Ziggy and don't embarrass your team again.

boy did i talk mad smack about shaincoe at the beginning on the season for his drops last year and the first few weeks this year. i was calling for garret mills except he keeps getting hurt. since then he has been stellar...in a weak year for TE's he has been one of the best in the NFL. i am officially eating my words, hopefully he keeps it up...no pun intended.

I hope Zygi and Childress apologized for this. Their the ones who were oblivious to anyone that might be "unclothed" in a locker room. I think Shiancoe need not be embarrassed. He handled it all with alot of class.

“Are you serious?”

This is why I never understood the whole concept of the locker room interview after the game. And then there was the whole controversy a few years ago about women reporters in the locker room. Aren't you just asking for this type of thing to happen when you go into the locker room after the game? Can't the interviews wait until everyone is dressed and out in the media room? Surely the comments can't get any less inane.

Embarrassed? What does he have to be embarrassed about? It looks like a baby's arm holding an apple. He should be the new Ladies Man on SNL.

Mr. Shiancoe, who is likely a good man said, "I'm trying to have a little sense of humor about it, but there's a serious side of it, too, because with the kids. You don't want any kids seeing that." And he didn't do anything wrong, as culture dictates that's its okay for men to walk around locker rooms with all that for each other to see.

But I think, with all due respect to this man, that's it's not just kids that shouldn't see that. Porn and other depcictions of men that are unrealistic for men of lesser stature can cause problems for those men. They see something like that and it may traumatize them because they feel less adequate. While my husband says it doesn't bother him, i think he can't help feeling a little less of a man.

Why we don't like this Viking team

This question was posed on the blog.

The reason was aptly put by one fan who said that fans are on the edge of their seats thru the whole game because they always feel this team is one mistake from blowing the game. There is no feeling of domination, no confidence that we can come back. No belief we have a team can really win.

I want to expand on that. The fans are always afraid to believe in this team for one reason, Childress does not believe in this team. You can see it on his face.

I will never forget the New Orleans game when the papers were full of Childress's last chance and New Orleans came out of the box and dominated early. I saw a look of absolute PANIC on Childress face.

Is this the guy who inspires confidence in you? If Childress was the doctor doing open heart surgery on you, would you feel good about it? or would you run for the exits?

Good coaches always look like they know what they are doing......even if they don't. They are expressionless, emotionless or if emotional, it is anger. These are things in which you can believe. Childress has no leadership qualities at all.

Would you follow him into battle in time of war? Hell no. And that is the problem. You would follow Bud Grant into the trenches but you would not follow Brad Childress. Get a coach with real leadership abilites and demeanor on the sidelines and the fans will be back. And so will the team. Until then, Childress has to prove he has balls and he'd better beat out Shiancoe.

If anybody was traumatized by the size issue, who would you sue? Fox for showing it or Schiancoe for having it?

Your a f#$%in' idiot. Did someone make you a spokesman for offended men? Are you some wacked out lesbian jealous because you don't have that hanging between your legs? This is a sports related discussion. What happened, happened. It was accidental and nothing more. If VS is mad, sue. If not, laugh it off and get ready for Arizona. It will take all the Vikings have to beat the Cards. They don't need people making more out of this than it was and creating a media distraction. Get a life, or a strap-on and go back to your Obama blogs. Moron.
