The illustration of Favre in a Vikings uniform is a insult to Vikings fans everywhere. Destroy it.

It probably means nothing.
But, let’s face it, Hattiesburg-Laurel Regional Airport is hardly a major hub of transportation.
Only five flights arrived there today, and only six departed.
One of the arrivals came from Minneapolis, and one of the departures headed back there.
The plane from Minneapolis arrived at 9:11 a.m. local time, and left at 4:14 p.m. local time.
It probably has nothing to do with one of the more famous residents of Hattiesburg. After all, he’s retired from playing football, and he has no intention of coming back.
Favre said so himself.“It’s all rumor.[There’s] no reason for it.”
Oh, wait. That was last year, when Favre shot down in early July talk that he wanted to come back.
Since he was telling the truth then, he’s surely telling the truth now.

Wow, the little chip monks you got running the wheels in your brain must be getting pretty tired, just trying to figure out your point regarding Brett Favre and his retirement, now if he decides to join the Vikes would be a great boost to the Vikings ticket sales, dont know about chances of going to the Superbowl, but a lot of ticket sales would be generated from start of season to Superbowl time. As it is at this time the Vikes do not stand much of a chance of going to the Superbowl in the first place, and they do not have the personnel to generate ticket sales, Favre would generate ticket sales in a minute.

We just put the Cheddar heads in the slow cooker and set it on low for a few months. Mass suicides would be putting it lightly if Brett dons the Purple. Canada is still trying to sell that worthless piece of land they own bordering wisc. to the Mexicans.

Did you come up with that all by yourself did you have to have CT come to your aid... again. Yep and that land is called Minnesota.

At the very least Favre would sell tickets...I seriously think the Vikes are going to have a hard time selling out the games next season. It couldnt hurt to have Favre.
The problem is Chilli is an arrogant control freak..He WILL NOT have anyone on his team that gets any attention..He will be the demise of the Vikings.

I'm originally from Minnesota, so I'm interested in what goes on with the Vikings. I find it hard to believe that so many Vikings fan want the Packers sloppy seconds (actually thirds). They got rid of him!! It's not a coup!! I think Brett will become a laughing-stock if he "unretires" yet again, and will lose what little integrity he has left. Don't expect the Vikings to become NFL "darlings" if this happens - there's a chance it will hurt their image. He's not the answer to the future by any stretch of the imagination.

Exactly what image are YOU referring to???

The Vikes have never won a Superbowl. Their coach and current head coach are a JOKE. It's almost a given at this point that some games this season will be BLACKED OUT.

Favre would put fans in the stands - plain and simple. A few wins by Favre & the Vikes over the Packers would be great for us and the NFL.

Face it - if he wants back, he'll come back, and we'll gladly take him.

P.S. Turdvirus Jackson SUX!!!

Don't even go there. Favre has a torn-up shoulder and a dead arm. He's nowhere near what he used to be and hasn't worked out in months. Give up the pipe dream.

Time to step back and think here Vikes fans.

Super Bowls are won by great organizations first. Great organizations build Super Bowl contenders by forming a plan and then sticking to it. How does bringing in a washed up quarterback just to sell tickets further the plan? It would actually reveal that there is no real plan, and selling hope to the fans continues to be to M.O. for this team. Again.

I think the team has figured out their fan base. Anything that provides some salve for the wounds incurred from living and working with so many Packer fans is all it takes to keep them happy. Whether that's winning at least on of the two annual games, or bringing in their cast-off legendary QB for a season.

Whether he attempts a comeback or not, I don't care, but if he does it will be obvious whether there is any juice left in his arm by the end of pre-season. They can not bring him in after camp...that is not fair to the rest of the team. As far as rooting for him in purple....again, I don't care, I pull for the Vikings. Whoever is wearing the purple....they better kick some ass. And, people need to let up on Harvin. Give the kid a chance to show why they drafted him before you want to include him with the likes of Vick and Pacman. Raji admitted to 2 teams' scouts he likes to smoke weed too....you don't see that all over the place. You don't see Steeler fans saying "get rid of our Super Bowl MVP" Holmes because he was just arrainged on marijuana charges. I can't wait to see Harvin and Adrian together on the field, with that beast Loadholt blocking for them.

Florio deserves no credit about the jet story. A poster in the Green Bay newspaper mentioned it and another poster in the Minneapolis paper added some more information and a little after that another poster claiming to work at the airport confirmed the flight out.
