Lets not judge Orton on the first game (pre-season) but Simms sure seems to be the man for the job so far.

It's only pre-season, time to work out all the bugs and to see what combination of players works the best together. I wouldn't get to worried about losing a pre-season game by one point. As a team we didn't look that bad.

I was far more impressed than I thought I'd be ... hardly any veterans, 92% brand new team, nobody has any experience with anyone else except the right side of the Offensive Line. And the Broncos only fall short one point against a Singletary Old School team? Frankly, that was a whole better outing than I imagined it would be. Orton and receivers are not on the same page, that takes 1,000s of reps to make micro-second unconscious decisions based solely on "feel". Lest we forget Elway sucked out loud for a number of years in the beginning and Tom Brady was positively awful in his beginning. A fifth round pick, scrawny and way back in the depth chart and look at him now.

The Defense impressed me. Eddie Royal continues to thrill me. Peyton Hillis is The Man, we've got a ton going for us and I didn't think I'd ever say that after the public relations nightmare and foul ups of the off season.

It's going to be good, really good. And FINALLY!!! Some fricking beef up front!! Good Lord how can you go to war without Mutants up front on Off and Def? Finally some tonnage on the D front line.

I'm excited and I was PO'd after the Shanahan and Cutler debacle I swore I would never watch again.

The only long term stability to this team is Antonopoulos and Bobby "The Man" Turner. C'mon ... it's a new team and they still came within a point.

It was my birthday yesterday and I didn't get to watch the game or even listen to it. Not even the post-game analysis of what went right and what went wrong. Thanks to all of the above posts. Very informative! Won't be missing any more games EVER!

i`d be more PISSED=OFF with the fact that the old 49ers coach gave the game away to the 49ers by not kicking the extra poimt to tie the game, but then again, mabe he found a way to get the 49ers a way to win

Daily Horoscope for December 27

Sagittarius

After all the excitement of the past few days you're longing for the chance to put your feet up and take life easy for a while. Ideally, you should bury your nose in a good book and be left alone until you resurface for a food transfusion. But you'll also enjoy chatting to someone you know very well and for whom you don't have to make a big effort, such as a close relative.
