Farve has the ring and doesn't choke when the game gets tough.

Favre might be taking some Records away from Marino, but nobody can take away the fact that Dan led the '84 Dolphins to the Super Bowl. That will always be the HIGHLIGHT on his Total Career Resume.

Favrefan-------You're right, though. Dan did have his troubles in his Biggest Pressure Games (Conf. Champ. games and that S.B.). He was great in the '84 Conf. Champ. game, but in the other 3 he had a Comp.% under 50%, 4 TD's but 6 INT's, a Passer Rating of around 60, and he led his "O" to an avg. of only 13 p.p.g. Dan possibly just couldn't handle the pressure as well as Favre. I may as well call it like I see it.

As a huge Marino fan, and definite Favre observer... think he can break 5,084?

Marino always choked in the big games. Probably the biggest choke artist in sports.

Most of Marino's stats were acquired during "garbage time". And his road playoff record was atrocious. Not the guy you'd want in a big game.

It looks like CRY-BABY DAN will have absolutely zero records left after this year. At least he has his money and he can hang out with the old Dolphin players on Sundays and drink the stale champagne with Don Shula.

I often saw Marino running downfield after one of his interceptions, not to TRY and make a tackle, but to either yell at his receiver , or to just get out of the way of the interceptor....haha

I can hardly stand wathcing the NFL today show on CBS mainly because of Marino, but Boomer and Cohwer are just as bad.

Matt------I doubt if Favre cares about 5084 yds. But I bet he would very much like to break all of Montana's Post-season Records. Those Records that Joe holds helped him to lead his Team to 4 Championships. Favre realizes that Reg. season Records just don't mean that much.

Favres accomplishment far exceeds the cry-baby's in that the Packers have a balanced offense, and that miami team was built around a QB statue. He couldn't run or scramble, so their offense was designed for the passing game.

i think Favre would be sick about some of the things you people have been saying if he's the kind of man everyone says he is... why talk smack about a man that isnt face to face with you..makes you sound like a damn chicken headed woman...

Favre has his share of "chokes" too.

How about 6 interceptions in a playoff game to St Louis Rams back in...? 2001?

It's a busy day and you've got quite enough to do without having to cope with people clamoring for your attention and likely to go into a huff if they don't get it. Is this person feeling neglected because you're busily occupied elsewhere or are there other reasons for their demanding mood? Simply giving them a big hug could make all the difference to their behavior.
