Never heard of Culver but hope the Fins made a good move by picking him up. I personally like Atari Bigby from the Packers that guy can hit.

Now I'm starting to feel a little worried about my boy Bess maybe he is not as safe as I thought he was after the last cuts. I just pray that Bess can stay a Dolphin and contribute this season.

It is amazing how J.Allen can continue to remain on this Team. He clearlt=y cannot play on special teams as evidenced by his cluless roaming on punt returns. I guess that 1st rnd signing bonus must still be too hefty to have rolled up into this yrs cap dollars. What a pity to see this loser around.

I don't think Foster will be out of work for too long. Good to see they stashed an OT on the practice squad, but, too bad (seemingly) at Foster's expense.

BTW, Mauifinfan, Bess isn't going anywhere. He's being groomed for punt returns and may be an ideal replacement for Welker in the slot. I know we all drooled over Foster watching You tube hilights but he did nothing but give away yardage during punt returns. Even Sparano said that Bess was his biggest surprise

Hell, since I seem to be blogging to myself: the top 10 reasons why the 2008 Miami Dolphins will be the most improved team in the NFL.
1. Our OL is sick, wait til they gel. Granted, no depth but look at the youth, they will only grow together.
2. Ricky and Ronnie. Say what you want about Ricky, but he never lied to us, and that determination to be the best is his new mantra.
3. Not to jinx, but the amount of injuries from last year is as common as El nino during a leap year when the planets align. Or can be contributed to a lax Cam camp compared to the Parcells OTAs. Don't see the entire squad on IR, or faking it.
4. A semblance of decent quarterback play. I must say how adamently I opposed the Pennington signing, but let me eat crow. He's even set his ego aside to mentor, What would Favre do?
5. Locker room loud mouths, adios. Bye-bye Feeley. Has anyone noticed that even Vonnie, who has had the right to bitch, has locked his zipper? Take a note, Joey, and do your talking on the field.
6. Better coaching anyone? I've always cringed when we let good talent walk, especially to NE, but now we have those who can recognize it or the lack of it, and coach those with a desire, or fear, to learn.
7. Special teams, blah blah blah.
8. Everyone on this team is scared to death to perform or else. Before you know it, seasoned veterans will be vying for a spot on this roster.
9. Back to the youth, count the number of two, three year, and even rookies who will contribute or finally shine.
10. With two wins, we double our victories (Ok I ran out of shit)

Scratch number 10: we now have a defensive line designed to stop the run. Damned beer. Don't drink and think!

Walker thanks for the support on Bess I was just worried about the fumble he had during pre season.

Been a lifelong Fin fan and was exstatic when we got 3 Hawaii players last season now trimmed to 2 with the loss of Tala Esera & Mauia. After Mauia's off field incident I'm glad he's off the team.

For now I've got Satele & Bess to cheer for along with the rest of the Dolphins.

I think a lot of people are forgetting the obvious here, we did give up some big plays in the passing game last year on defense, but don't forget, we couldn't stop the run at all. This year we will hopefully have the ability to stop the run, and on 3rd down we should be able to create somewhat of a pass rush. I think having a pass rush will help the secondary so they don't have to cover all day. The thing that scares me is that N.E. and company have big receivers, and they seem to tower over our safeties, so if the QB gets time, we might be sliced cheese in the secondary, it is all up to our front. We do need a lot of DT/DEs to keep fresh bodies on the field. I like the fact we have a lot of depth there. I also think Torbor will help if one of our LBs goes down. But getting rid of Thomas might hurt, he played pretty well in the preseason, it's all up to who we bring in. We might bring him or Roberson back, if we lose someone in a game. I just think when we play N.E, it's going to be difficult with all the damn spread formations they use, but I think everybody knows by now, you double Moss and keep Brady pressured the whole game to have success. I will say too, however, that NE's defense looks like it's in shambles, these guys they have all look like they have just about reached their age, I wouldn't be surprised if they fold this year, a long with the defense-less jets.

I guess not. It doesn't take much to realize that Jason Allen can't walk and chew gum at the same time. Corner and safety at the same time - not a chance!

I hate to see Jayson foster go. One of my boys here in Georgia is friends with him. Admittedly he didn't do a whole lot from a game standpoint to warrant keeping though. Good luck Jayson!

Jason Allen has great physical ability. His problem is mental. Sabin's system was WAY over his head. This defense is simpler (like Jason Allen) and he will be able to play faster in it. Give him this year. They cut other DB's so they must see something
