Tennessee's Brad Cottam and Erik Ainge heard their names called on day 2 of the NFL draft, as did Madisonville native Jerome Felton.

I'm surprised Ainge was drafted at all! I predict another T Martin situation. Play on the sidelines a couple of years, get booted to the practice squad and then sent home.

Remember when we had NFL talent year in and out. It was just after fat PHIL got in, now 12 years latter 8-5 year in and out, luck into SEC title game after someone else loses to put us in and then limp home broken. Thug U is back and this time its not MIAMI but UT knoxville. Go phat phil charge student so your players can afford more weed and beer for the 6am runs.

I'm not saying that he will be a star, or even a starter. I just think that he will make a good backup QB for the Jets. They are very unsettled at QB and he is going into a good situation for a rookie.

Too bad for Ainge. He's a QB that falters under criticism and that is NY national past time to criticize the Jet's QB.

Beer should not be sold at UT under any circumstance. We teachers try to instill the harm in drinking. Our Middle Schoolers are watching this closely. Some of them are already saying that if it is sold at UT, it should be permissible to drink beer anywhere. Selling beer at UT would be a slap in the face to educators and parents who try to keep their kids from drinking.

Perhaps if they do allow beer sales in the stadium we can also bring back the Kentucky/Tennessee beer barrel series. The two schools agreed to drop this decades old tradition a few years ago because it sort of promoted beer drinking. What could promote beer drinking more than selling it?

Ainge will never play in the NFL. He was never the same after he got hurt his freshman year (thanks to Fulmer's stupidity). By the way, Cottam is another potentially great college player who UT could never develop or get the ball to. His brother will be a carbon copy this year. Loads of talent, but UT will never get him the ball. It's amazing...considering how little FUlmer throws to TE, they've got about 20 of them on the team. Nothing will change, even with the new OC. Another long season of slop.
