All the talk this preseason and during the offseason. All this we are the "Best Defense Ever" ... They are a bunch of blow holes. Sure, they're injured and that's part of the game ... But what's with all the missed tackles? Who thought Archuleta was any good at football?(If you get cut by the Redskins, you pretty much suck) No forced fumbles, no interceptions ... This defense is anything but intimadating. It's so not scary that the Broncos went for it on 4th and 5 in the 2nd quarter because they know that the Bears can't stop them ... and they got the 1st down. This defense, which used to be the pride and joy of this team is anything but now. Fearsome? Hardly. The only fear this unit strikes in anyone or anything is the fear that it might just be the worst in football by the end of the season.

They were NEVER the best defense ever. The '85 defense would have chewed these guys up and spit them out. Last season they were an above average defense playing against weak teams. This season, against better teams, they're showing their true colors.
