Better to maybe get something for a lot of nothing.- Not dissing him, just bad luck.
Hopefully, Jackson's using these Organized Grab-Arse sessions to get his timing down. He releases after waiting too long. That's a big part of his problem. Needs to see more than one target.- Typical young QB stuff.

It just didn't work out for Erasmus with our team; the injury bug kept biting him. I hope it works out for him with the 'skins. Meanwhile, if he makes their team, we'll get compensation of at least some sort in the 7th round next year. Not bad, and better than a simple release on waivers. Well done, Vikings. Good luck James.

Good Kid, bad luck. 7th round conditional pick is better than a sharp stick in the eye.
Anyone remember before the Allen trade, we were being fed the pile o crap that he would be a good option at DE.

i still think we should have kept him. so what if he's hurt, it's not like we need him to play right now. we've got a good d-line already. put him on the IR and let him rehab. he had to of have some skill to be a 1st rounder.

It was great to hear Adrian Peterson and Bernard Berrian were among a dozen players who spent more than 30 minutes after practice in a Punt, Pass and Kick clinic with Special Olympics athletes. I would also like if you would please, to print the names of the other ten athletes. Those people such as, Adrian and Bernard, who take time out of their busy lives to help special people do special things are very special people themselves. A BIG thank you to all of you!

Could be our loss is the Redskin gain, but something tells me that the Vikes did not simply release a former 1st round pick without other factors than the knee surgeries. The medical staff knew the problems with the knees, took it into consideration, and he still flunked the physical. Maybe the kid has just bad luck and will come back, but anyone with lingering injuries for that long throws up a red flag. I believe that the Vikings staff thought that he never put the time and effort needed to completely rehab, and that was why he was released. He's been rumored to spend a lot of time in the clubs, not holding that against him, but there comes a time when you need to decide where your priorites are. In any case, I would not get your hopes up too high.

As far as James is concerned:

“The Times also quoted Redskins executive vice president Vinny Cerrato as saying,“Fred Smoot played with him in Minnesota and liked him.”

Fred Smoot endorsing anybody is like the worlds' crummiest plummer endorsing the basement in an outhouse.

you guys have a track record of getting good players and not having them produce...looks to me to be a team problem...as long as james turns around like smoot did for the redskins we will be happy!

???? Who are you talking about? The Skinnies have the worst free agent history in the NFL! LOL They are a puchline when it comes to signing Free Agents. Even they admitted it this year by bypassing Free Agents all together.

Furthermore to debunk your accusation about Free agent busts. Here are 5 solid FA acquisitions,
C Taylor
A Winfield
B Leber
S Hutchison
R Longwell

Who can you hang your hat on Skinnie Fan.

The only name on that list that sticks out is Hutchison which you had to over pay to get cause he was restricted...as for free agent that worked for the Redskins.....

Santana Moss
Shawn Springs
Marcus Washington
Antwaan Randle El
Todd Collins
Phillip Daniels
Cornelius Griffin
Andre Carter
London Fletcher
Fred Smoot
Pete Kendall

should I go on cause thats just whos on the team now if you like I can go in the past...
P.S. how are you a Minnesota fan from dallas...theres only two things that come from there...

And the Redskins said that there was no talent that they were willing to over pay for in this years free agency...get your fact straight!

There is little to no talent in your list either. If Santana Moss and Randel El are so good why did the Skinnies draft a gazillion recievers?

As for Danny boy not going after Free Agents. I think he learned his scouting staff stinks and decided to keep his cash.

Vikes Fans can move but we never give up our Loyalty. We can agree on one thing... there are only two things around here! Fake Boobs and $30,000 millionares.

how is hutchinson the only name that sticks out. antoine winfield is in the top 10 CB's in the league. Chester taylor was second in the league in avg. per carry with 5.4 behind adrian peterson who is another viking. ben leber is an ok OLB. and ryan longwell is still one of the best kickers in the game.

oh, and another thing i forgot to comment about was your list of players that you got here. the only players who did anything last year on that list were shawn springs and london fletcher. moss, randle el, washington, griffin, smoot, carter, and kendall didnt do a whole lot last year. collings did ok for a backup QB.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Scorpio

Something that you've always taken for granted or believed implicitly could have a big question mark hanging over it during the next few weeks. The more entrenched your views are about this, the more difficult it will be to accept that perhaps it's time for a change of opinion or, at the very least, a revaluation of what you think. Mercury turns retro in your house of communications, so do your best to be open-minded now.
