Romo's emergence only spark in a dismal display of misplay

In Loserville, there was a stunned silence as disbelief and shock consumed the Cowboys' postgame locker room. Full Story

Randy, did you grab my thoughts while I was sleeping? I'm still trying to wake up. I know my calendar says it's 11/12 but it can't be because in my mind it's gotta be 11/04 and the Cowboys will play the Redskins tomorrow. Please tell me that's the truth. OMG! The funniest thing is, as a Cowboy Fan since Roger, sadly I'm not a bit surprised by what happened. This is the Team that I chose and I choke whenever I that infamous 'For Better or For Worse' because when you're a Dallas Cowboy's Fan, it usually the worse. You summed it up with the Clowns description. Of all the blunders committed in this game, I'd have to say what shines above all is the dropped pass to Owens. Why this bothers me the most is all the self-adulations this (may I borrow your term?) Clown has thrown around since becoming a member of this Squad. After the loss to Philly, all I heard was had Bledsoe given him opportunities to make plays, we would have won the game. Well he dropped a sure touchdown or dran close to one in the Giant's game and now he does it yet again. Oh yeah Randy, he's not worth 10mil. You know it, I know it, everybody knows it except Jerry Jones. For a guy who is so rich, why is he so dumb?
Jerry Jones has no real idea how to put together a quality football team nor does he really & truly know anything about Coaches. Jerry Jones thinks because Bill Parcells was a Super Bowl winning Coach, that qualifies him. But as I've witnessed Bill Parcells hasn't amounted as much as Barry Switzer who was almost stoned in Dallas.
Parcells brought in Drew Bledsoe because why, they are good friends? Drew Bledsoe was released from two Teams for good reasons. And my biggest question for Parcells is, since we've now seen what Tony can do, why in the World did you hold this kid back for so long?
When you look at the Eagles' Game & Giants' Game, you see that even with all the mistakes, Dallas still had opportunities to win. Just imagine if Romo was the Starter in both those games, I'd place money that the outcome would have been much different. Romo is by far a better Quarterback than Bledsoe and although I'm baseing that on 2.5 games, I've seen enough to know this guy is for real. Top Shelf Player with serious skills that can drive a good team to one victory after another. But first we need to get a good team around him.
Witten, Glenn, Newman, Williams, Barber, Jones, Romo are the shinning Stars of this Team. All the rest are pretenders and I include Terrell Owens as a Pretender. He has not shown me anything that warrants his enlarged ego.
The Dallas Cowboys are an embarrassment to their Fans and to themselves. If there was one thing I could say to them, it would be learn how to grab another part of the body besides the FACE MASK !!!

Sincerely,

DaBoyz from footballforum.com
