Why waste good money & a good #3 pick on an over-hyped QB when we could've gotten a very good defensive lineman in Glenn Dorsey.

Ok so the Falcons want to move on from Vick and start anew, I understand that but they could of done that with later picks with other QB's just as over-hyped as Matt Ryan. Hell, we could of traded our pick to the Saints and move down a little bit in the first round to save some money. And if Ryan is being paid top 5 money, whnt about that $10 million,$2 million guaranteed contract we just awarded to Chris Redman who's our rebuilding QB.

So here's my delusional spin on the Falcons #3 pick debacle:

When Donovan McNabb was selected in the first round for the Eagles instead of Ricky Williams. he got booed. Fast-forwarded 9 yrs, the Eagles went to the Super Bowl at least once under McNabb so he turned out a good gamble whereas Williams just came back from suffering a major injury during his first game after being reinstated from a 2nd suspension.

I'm still going to root for my Falcons but jeez they are giving me migraines, ulcers, and heartburn all the same time this off-season. Maybe they will kick Joey "Shell-Shocked" Harrington to the curb finally.
