Yeah.....Beck has yet to play even an average season and he's comparing himself to Tiger Woods. He's acting like he's just fine tuning..saying stuff like if he can trip a few batted balls off, why not.....JUST MOVE THE TEAM AND SCORE YOU FREAK....AND HOLD ONTO THE BALL!

I mean....I've never seen a pro QB worse than Beck. Maybe he can develop into an Arena league backup.

He is going to improve I guarantee it. Hell, he can't do as bad as last year.

Beck was the "Golden Boy" early last season and was supposed to spend the season "learning" - instead he got thrown into the fire early on because the team was so poor, the coaches hoping he could do the impossible, well he couldn't, that's a lot of pressure to put on a young kid and Beck didn't respond like a seasoned Dan Marino, so now everyone is down on him.

I'd like to see what he does his 2nd year, he's got some 1st hand experience now, even if it wasn't always positive and that can only make him better - how he responds now to the adversity will determine ultimately if he has it in him to be a QB at this level.

It's impossible not to improve, he was embarrassing on the field.

Now you just wait and see. John Beck and Ted Ginn Jr. were better than Brady Quinn & Lord knows what WR would have been left for us to nab. John Beck will impress. I guarantee it. He's a smart kid. You're going to enjoy watching him carry a clip board for years to come just like you enjoyed our 1st round pick punt returner. Did I tell you I am personal friends with the Ginn family?

The word you seek wiseguy is "already" - is there a reason you even bothered to post since you made no reference to the topic, but instead tried to make an inflammatory remark?

I am glad he is putting in the time and work to try to get better. If he had gone fishing i would have given up on him but he is showing he is serious and wants to become a top QB in the NFL - hopefully he will make it with the dolphins!

GOOD LUCK JOHN!

All I know is that I'm happy none of you have any say so in the Dolphins organization. I'm sure you would have given up on Tom Brady and Peyton Manning after their rookie seasons too. It was a bad year for every member of the Dolphins last year. Sure Beck did a poor job, but what exactly was everybody expecting from him after being put in the situation he was with such a terrible coach? Beck is a very talented QB and I think he will have a bright future in the NFL.

John Beck was an embarassment last year. I have never seen worse quarterback play in my life. i was ashamed to have him on my favorite team. they guy is a human blooper reel and its retarded to think that the guy can go from train wreck to decent in just a few months.

" yo mo' is correct.. all of the comments about him were written by morons! A few more below also.. You freakin no nothing idiots know nothing about football. You just dont come into the NFL and play like Dan Marino unless you are Dan Marino. He has no TE's, no offensive line, no receivers to speak of and no running backs! WTF? I cant stand that you ham and eggers are Fin fans! Man, I hate ignorant fans. He might or might not be the answer at qb. but to judge him on last years play, with a coach as dumb as u knuckheads, COME ON NOW!

Whats really a knucklehead is anyone who thinks Beck MAY be the answer. The guy is lost in space. And he's no 22 yr old either. Blaming the surrounding cast is just an excuse as Lemon was far better with the same teammates. You cant like anything you've seen from this guy. A wasted pick.

I don't think you can evaluate Beck from last year's team. He was awful, but that whole fiasco was just Cam Cameron shuffling the deck to keep from getting fired. I guarantee he'll be better than last year. He'll surprise people. You heard it here first.
