I still think the Dolphins blew it by passing on Brady Quinn. That opinion aside, the Dolphins also passed on Patrick Willis, a stud linebacker from Missisippi. San Francisco didn't and look what he did this year as a rookie on another crappy team. Linebacker is one of our biggest positions of need.
LB was not a position of need prior to the draft...Zach, Crowder, Porter, Pope...everyone thought we were set...

Don't forget to put the $59.99 you have to shell out for Madden '08 at the top of the list.

Jim Tressell for Head Coach!
Update the Dolphins uniforms and logo. 1972 was a good year, but let's move forward, it's 2008.
Trade for Browns QB Andersen, restricted free agent. Browns seem willing to move with Quinn next year.
Draft a DE or DL to balance the line. This makes Porter or Thomas work less and look better. Draft lineman, defense and offense as soon as you can. Success starts with the line.
Pray that the new Coach does not bring in a 38 year old retread QB and kick a starting QB out of camp. Lot of class the Dolphins showed last year.
Lower the ticket prices to get people back into the Stadium.
Buy Mr. Ireland a personality and keep Parcells up in the booth and off the field.
Let the new Head Coach run the team.
Just a thought.

I'm tired of these "cottage industry gurus (CIGs)" that I don't even bother to try convincing them of this fact.

Not into video games. I'll let the gamers put this on their list. I would rather see a winner on a real field.

<quoted text>I guess you would rather have a bunch of investors who are just looking for a place to put their money while the economy & realestate market is down... HA lets see what those guys would do for us? nothing, except flip the team for a profit to someone in L.A. even if wayne dont know much about the inner workings of a football organization, he loves his team and has been trying to give us(the fans) what we want for the past 10-15 years now. and if youre gonna say, why was he just about to sell the team? because he is tired of looking like the bad guy and reading crap like this from people like you. it wasnt about the pay-off, i really doubt hes hurting for another billion dollars.... GO PHINS!!!

first of all...take off your caps...it doesn't make your statement any truer...but rather annoying...
secondly, how does someone who is not a leader take 3 companies and make them fortune 500?

The failure of the dolphins are definitely not for lack of trying, and I'd be afraid of a new owner and what they would do!
