Trent `had `a good career. I thought we would move on. What good is a guy that has missed most of two seasons? Isn`t it time to write a new chapter starting in 2008 ? Why set up team for another possible let down.

He sat on the bench while Kurt Warner won him that ring and he's got empty numbers, I'm just trying to figure out why he gets all this attention.

What exactly are 'empty numbers'? Is that what they use to elect players to the Pro Bowl?

I am Liking Parcells more and more. He knows these fans would cry wolf if he brings back TRENT! GOOd for Bill! A good Leader LEADS, he doesnt follow whimsical Fanatics who only see results, but Not how those results were attained! Bill Knows football. Giants. 2 rings with him. Pats. Went from bottom dwellers and well, they aint bottom dwellers now. PARCELLS guy running that show now. Cowboys were about as rock bottom as the fins were, and well, Got good After BILL. So GUYS maybe instead of whining and moaning, maybe if BILL brings TRENT back, he may know a thing or 2 more than any of US!

Empty numbers are when you have great stats but nothing to show for it, like play off wins, etc. The Pro Bowl is a popularity contest as much as it is a reward for excellent play.

I'm suspicious of a Dallas guy who's newly appearing posts are critical of Parcells.

You come off like a jilted lover.

Sorry to burst your bubble, I'm a long suffering Lions fan and fan of the NFL in general, the Cowboys are my #1 most hated team so really your theory has no merit. I'm just questioning the validity of Trent Green at this point.

I postulated no theory.

But your answer is without a doubt true, because admitting you're a long suffering lions fan is kinda like admitting your a fins fan, there's just nothing to be gained from it.

That said, I think everyone here is well aware that you're not a Trent Green fan. Duly noted.

We've got our man. His name is John Beck. No need to search further for greatness. Just one more year of 16 starts is all he needs and we will see why we chose him to get our team back on track.
