If Trent comes back, why on earth did Wayne hire Parcells.........I sincerely doubt he comes back, he will be a QB coach or b'caster..............

If Parcells wants Green back it is probably as mentor to either John Beck or their draft pick. That is the only reason I can think of.
They are going to play a rookie.

parcells wants veteran guys with character. as for greene's ability, they'll be physical and be run oriented. what parcell's wants from his qb is a guy who can make throws down field, but more important protect the ball. don't worry, they'll bring in another veteran free agent as well.

If he is going to bring in another VET why bother with Trent? Parcells sees something we dont. ANd I am sure he has plans to make the pass protection a bit better! My guess is it is mainly to tutor BECK. they will need 1 more QB as a 3rd stringer. maybe late draft rounds.

Can anyone tell me what Green has ever done? Other than getting injured and making way for Kurt Warner with the Rams, what is his claim to fame?

Hey heard Earl Morrall will be at that thing this weekend at the Orange Bowl, possibly VP of Football Operations might want to go chweck him out?

Come on give me a break, you want me to continue to pay $100 a game per ticket, plus parking and all the other stuff...and you are going to give a beat up trent green again....It is time to renew, I think not! TV is looking better, and I have had my season tickets since 1968! What Channel are they on?

Trade down, and get Matt Ryan or Colt Brennan(under too much pressure in the sugar bowl, but it wasn't his fault), the guy can really play. All you Dorsey fans out there, there is a DT from USC that looked pretty damn impressive, who I would rather take, named Sedrick Ellis. That guy is a force.

There only a handfull of players that should be on this years roster from that fiasco of the 07 season. Trent Green is not one of them! It is time to move on and Parcells is not a patient man,I think he has seen enough of last years game films to assess the talent(or lack there of)and move on.

Why bring back a guy who is one shot to the head away from retirement. I like Green but its time to move on. His only real value would be as a third QB but his $ would not justify him being here in that position.

Why are they bringing back Trent Green (aka Timex - takes a licking and keeps on ticking).

Timex was bad under cam and will be bad under Parcells.

...and you hicks have a nerve to question the MIGHTY JETS keeping the next Montana, Chad Pennington.

Everyone and their momma knows that Chad is a lock for the Hall of Fame.

Timex will stop ticking shortly on his way to becoming a seiko.

You guys! All season all you people did is Piss and moan that we need change. We get Parcells and everyone is starting to feel great. Yea Wayne hired the right man you all said. And yet here we are having all you idiots who are obviously over qualified to be a head coach or a VP of football operations saying the same [email protected]# as you were 6 weeks ago and 7 weeks,8 weeks and on and on and on.If you are all so dam smart and know so much about football why are you not on Wayne's payroll? Or any other football teams payroll. No matter what happens most of you here will never be happy. You also have nothing positive to say but you are all great at whining like little babies.STFU and let the people who're PAID to do the job DO IT.Maybe they wont get it right the next season but they are doing more than most of you. They are trying to make a difference all you guys are doing is bitching like little girls. WAH WAH WAH.
