Worrell is Dolphins' 4th safety lost for the season

Full story: South Florida Sun-Sentinel

When Dolphins coach Cam Cameron confirmed safety Cameron Worrell's season-ending knee injury on Monday, it wasn't just another hit to the secondary.

You're joking right? A guy trying to make a living for his family??? You mean about as in a million dollars a season playing football??? I make a living for my family, about $50,000 a year, and there are many poor souls worse off than me. This joke of a safety will be paid very nicely to sit on his butt. If I hurt my knee, I'd be on unemployment making much less than I am now. IDIOT

Plain and simple...
When you have an organization that is built on monetary gain rather than heart, emotion and the sincere desire to play football, then you get the chaoss that comes with the greed.
Anyone who is anyone, knows what is happening here! Where is G-d at in all of this? How much glory is G-d getting in all this? Where is G-d at in the hearts of all these players?
This is a humbling time right now for those that serve Jesus (Yahushua HaMashiach) on this team. In reality, if their coach and system of coaches truly has a mind and heart for G-d, then success will come with the defeat they have been given. You simply reap what you sow. The Dolphins are eating the fruits of their physical and spritual labor and so are the coaches and especially the owner!
Sorry Wayne, but if you want to put money before G-d, look what you got in this team, LOOSERS!
Dear G-d, please forgive the Dolphin's owner, staff and players that are not putting you first in their lives and help them to turn from their sins and turn toward you through Jesus Christ, to Him be the glory, forever an ever, amen!
Peace out!
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Way to capitalize your most egregious misspelled word.

The last word in this post must have been your signature.

The average NFL Career is 3.5 seasons. The average salary for a safety is 500k (yes this year for the first time he was scheduled to make a million, but alas he won't reach that figure). His total nfl lifetime earnings is less than 3 million bucks, yielding about 1.5 mill after taxes. If he's an outstanding saver he probably has 1 million bucks saved.

Ask any retirement planner if a 1 million dollar nest egg is enough for a 27 year old to retire and raise a family on.

Cameron is not some "spoiled, overpaid jock", he's a guy who risked his health for your entertainment in exchange for a few years of decent salary.

Try not to be such a heartless doushbag.

Guess you didn't read the post either. Read it again, and you'll see they are both talking about the same person. But I know, don't let the facts get in the way of an opportunity to lob a personal insult.

hey observer, don't be hating every one that has more than you. they have more than you because they went out and got it. maybe you're an obamanite, and would like more hand-outs. these players make a lot of money because they are the ones filling the seats. they are the ones you turn on your t.v. to watch. these players also pay their own health insurance. they also give a lot to charity. how much have you given to charity? douche bag! who's holding you back? don't hate someone for having more than you, hate yourself for underacheiving. oh and don't forget, they pay the extra taxes that make it possible for people like you to collect their welfare check!

Looks encouraging.. Im glad he finally gave the team the needed motivation it may have needed...

The reason coaches usually dont do this is because 1 loss = loss of motivation for the other three..

shows how wide open the nfl is each year. there is no other sport like it. i'm just glad huzenga let bill parcells run this team. he is already becoming part of a dolphin legend. sparano, with another good season, already is number two on the dolphins all time best coaches list. it's not too tough to do that if you look at the competition. unless you're a dolphin fan like i am, you will never realize how great it feels to watch your team compete each week, instead of going in trying not to get blown out.

While I understand the point behind what Sparano is saying, he still has a very tough job psychologically in fostering a balancing act between using the larger picture as motivation and, at the same time, making sure the players stay focused on the little details required to win the game immediately in front of them. That's a tough thing to do, and we'll see how well Sparano is able to earn his money from here on for the remainder of the year.

I like the job he's done so far. Kudos to the Trifecta for getting this team in this position. The future looks bright. And kudos to Wayne Huizenga (who takes a lot of grief from frustrated fans) for pulling the trigger to hire the Tuna. That's what started this ball rolling, along with the luck of having Pennington fall into our lap. But, since Huizenga has taken grief for many of his prior decisions, he surely deserves some credit for the Parcells hire and the ramifications it has brought.
