A healthy tom brady should always be the starter. No matter who's contending for the position. But, Tom's future isnt clear. A knee injury is one of those injurys that can most definitly destory and alter a successfull career. Bill belichick will groom his next starter to be great. Matt cassell has shown already he can be groomed to lead this football team to a win. Tom brady has shown he can lead this team to superbowls. Everybody may look at this situation and say to themselves. God this is awfull. A hall of famer, or the kid who could possibly be better!... possibly. No matter what happens, The patriots quarterback position will learn the system and be successfull. Bill belichick will drill success into his team always with dicipline, precision and poise. keep them both, safe and secure. sign cassell. IF tom comes back as tom, then trade cassell for some defence. If tom cant be tom. Then i guess we got a quarterback to take his place. Cassell cannot go on as a back up. Hes to good to keep on the bench.
