I think the TunaFins have their sights set on Sparano, but the Frazier interview was one born from genuine interest... Strong leadership qualities, an eye for defensive talent (and the ability to motivate it), and maybe most importantly, a deep understanding of the "Tampa 2" defense. Even if you don't run that D, you'll certainly encounter it in an NFL season. All of that said..... the Tuna is putting in place a system. He seems to want to use parts that already work together. The fans and ownership are in no mood for more patchwork planning or dartboard drafting. This points to the guy in Dallas. One word of warning though fellow Phins.... Cam was pretty effective with talent too.....

I am so freaking bored with this serious stuffed about the Dolphins. It is lonely here without all the brainless and nincompump incongruencies that the horrible decision making of Cam Cameron brought to this community. He was so incompetent at he always was news and laughs in a way. He was our version of George Bush in the White House. Totally a loose cannon with no direction where he was going to let one bad one go.

a token dude wouldn't have had a second interview...

I agree with the first poster, even though Sparano is more than likely their guy, they were genuinely interested in talking to Frazier.

People have to remember one thing, Sparano has to accept the job first. He's the hottest thing out there right now.

Green would probably be an asset to any other team but the 1-15 Dolphins. The guy is a proven and experienced QB.

Well, I guess we can end all the debate over the last episode. If Tony Sparano is interviewing for the Dolphins job, he obviously wasn't "whacked" in the diner ;o)

The amount of black coaches is well beyond their percentage of the population. Does the NFL look diverse or does it look like a ghetto?

I am sick of the NFL sucking up to the mulignan. look at the cheerleaders. Almost half are black and most of them is ugly weaves and all. If the Dolphins patronize the Black community with token coaches I will not renew my season tickets.

This article starts out: After a long dinner with Dolphins owner H. Wayne Huizenga, team president Bryan Wiedmeier and Ireland, the recently named general manager, Monday night.

I didn't see Parcells name mentioned in that dinner, enough said.

Patsfan, you can certainly empathize with the plight of us suffering but loyal Dolphins fans seeing as your Patriots sucked for most of the 70's, 80's and half of the 90's. To quote Hal Holbrook from the movie Wall Street; "Enjoy it while it lasts, because it never does".
