Dear Dave Hyde:
There is one simple reason and one alone that Beck isn't starting, and it is a tandom of names that include "Ted Ginn and Brady Quinn." When the Dolphins decided to take Ginn over a new first round starting quarterback, Beck and Camerons' football fates, were sealed together. With the Dolphins record, a big goose egg, being the way that it is, could you imagine if Beck was a bust as well? Cameron would be ran out of here quicker than his old team got rid of Marty Schottenheimer. The two are intertwined. Quarterback and Coach. So I would say don't be supprised if Beck doesn't show his face at all this season, because two knockouts to this organization are something that neither the Dolphins staff, players, or fans, especially the fans, could or will take lightly.

Until the phins put in Beck the fans should boycott the stadium and not go to any of the events in that ----. The less revenue mr wayne gets the better and the more the fans will have in their own pockets

Durability questions about McFadden?
I remember durability questions about a certain Minnesota Running back too.
I confess though, the prospect of getting a guy like this gets me kind of excited, and Peterson's success coming so recently may be contributing to my growing intrigue with McFadden.
Mueller DOES have an affinity for stud RBs though. He said as much himself recently.
At any rate, I'm so in agreement with you about this upcoming offseason, the potential of this years draft class is outstanding!

I had to repond to this post (which was a response to you) only to own up and say: maybe AP's durability questions were well founded?

If it wasn't an injury, I'd say my timing is laughable, and if I believed in voodoo, I'd apologize to AP for jinxing him.

Just in case though: sorry about the Jinx AP, get well soon!

DMC has those skinny little calves and if you watch his games, he comes out of the game an awful lot without being hurt. The announcers are always saying he gets tired as if he's working harder than anyone else out there! The other thing with a straight line speed guy, such as a Tyrone Wheatley type, is that if they get any injuries to their legs at all (knee, etc.) they're average, real quick. I sure love the speed guys as well as anyone, but if I had to pick between a burner like McFadden or a guy that's a smidgen slower but got a little wiggle (A.Peterson) I'll take the wiggle every time.
If you get a chance to check out Forte at Tulane take a look. He's about to make himself a lot of $$$$ I believe.
Thanks for the tip on Forte, I will indeed check him out. On that note, feel free to turn me onto any potential draftees I should be watching these last few weeks of the college season.

The Dolphins will never win because Wayne cares more about fans in other countries than he does winning.

It's not like Wayne fired any of them. Jimmy quit, Wannesteadt quit after 5 years, 4 too many. And Saban walked away. So it's doubtful Cam will be fired. It's not all Cam's fault they are 0-8. Years of poor drafting got us here, especially under Wanny. Unfortunately I don't see him doing any better with personell decisions than the others.

So, I clearly don't belong here, but I sort of wandered in off the street and I was wondering if you could answer something for me. Why do people keep referring to Beck as "the Mormon Beck"? Does he have a bunch of wives or something?(I'm kidding, something tells me those guys don't play football, but I looked up the word mormon and I can't figure out how any of it relates to football.) Or do they mean "Moron"? if so, why so hard on him before he has even played a game?
