<quoted text>Perhaps Tom Brady could have made it work. Or perhaps better coaching could have made it work... look at Randy Moss in NE... oh sh!t, look at Wes Welker in NE. What if we plugged in... say... John Beck?
Just because we weren't winning does NOT justify a systematic gutting of the WHOLE offense. And speaking of gutting the whole offense... when will we see John Beck?
You can't compare NE to Miami...NE already had a good team and added Moss, Miami hasn't had a good team in years.

And you do ? No i don't claim to have some magical potion that will rid the dolphins of their current shit infestation. But what i do know is this. Cam Cam, also known as the water boy. Is a PUSSY. Do you know what the means? It means you are to weak to make decisions for yourself and by confiction. And you decide things "ON A WHIM". Like some freakin fairy came to cam on night and said, "Lets start cleo cam lets do it." All and all the team sucks. THat is known. But it just shows a blatant amount of BS on the part of huizenga the german lover. I always thought WW2 was over but apparently not. Cause germans still exists. I.e. huizenga that sounds german enough to me. I would call him a jew but he apparently spends money so. I will refrain from the usual treatment. Bottom line, my thesis is Cam is a wanker, who likes to reward players who have good families. That in itself is absurd. Reward good families cause they play football. What total bs. I.E. Lemon, trent green, he has a good family. Look at the reward trent got. He started for the dolphins. Wow what a freakin reward. Might as well give him a crown of thrown. THat guy trent is like jesus now.
Wow, did anyone understand what this guy was saying?

<quoted text>They didn't say "fire Cameron", nor did I insinuate as much. If you actually read, you know what both have stated and what it was regarding. If I have to spell it out for you, you can't read. The '72 Phins are none too happy either. The Phans are none too happy. We're the punching bag of the NFL. It won't be long until we're the punch-line of every late night comedian's jokes. All you ever offer is "stay the course". At 0-8?!
You continue to defend failure while supporting Wayne and Cam. If this is what you offer, you will go down with their sinking ship. I think you should temper your remarks in the future as you have 0-8 branded on your reputation.
You can't call a coach who inherits a bad team a failure after just 8 games...give him till next season and if the team hasn't improved by then, I'll be right there with you calling him a failure.

<quoted text>Alright, man. So... let's be optimistic and look at the future; who or what position shall we think about with our 1st round draft pick in your opinion? Obviously, there is no right or wrong answer here.
I'm a big fan of McFadden, I love RBrown, and don't really know what we'd do with both of em, but I see what Peterson has done with the Vikes this year and I want that guy on my team.

I suppose they could split carries? Worked with RB and RW, and RW and Duece Mc.

But I also like Dorsey and Long. I'm kind of in agreement with Sabans theory of "big bodies...there's fewer of them", when you get a big guy with talent it's awfully hard to pass up.

But in reality, I'd love to see us trade down and pick up a third second rounder and maybe a 1st rounder in '09, that's the pats real draft magic, they get docked a first rounder in next years draft and still would be picking 5th if the draft happened today.

Yeah, man! I like the Arkansas RB as well! But with so many glaring needs at this point in time, I'm in favor of trading down. After all, Ronnie and Chapman look good as a tandem.

Bobby Petrino is in love with his son Brian Brohm in L'ville. I hope that Brohm kicks arse from here on out and the Falcons finish with one win more than our Phins. We trade down at that point with ATL and gain an additional 2nd or 3rd rounder. Under this scenario, the question now becomes: what do we do with our #1 (probably the 2nd-5th overall pick)? Under this scenario, I'm for either a CB, WR, or QB... if only we knew what Beck has!

Does Hawaii have a RB? Dime defenses all day against Colt Brennan, and he still delivers those impressive numbers; I'd love to see him in Miami! Imagine reuniting him with Samson Satele and Reagan Mauia! And he only has average receivers right now in Hawaii... I can look past his weak conference!

We didn't have a verical game when they were here. Correct me if I'm wrong but Welker had one receiving TD in his 3 year stay and Chambers had one in the last 14 or 15 games (whatever it was). That's not much of a passing game, I don't care who's blocking or throwing the ball.

<quoted text>The line was horrendous last year and we had no stability at QB; does this mean we cut all 11 starters on offense? With Gus Frerotte at QB, we had a glimpse of what this offense could do. With the additions of Samson Satele and Chris Liwienski (sp?), we see that it only took two guys to solidify the line. I realize it took the Welker trade to get Satele, but damn it, we have no vertical game now with Welker and Chambers gone... and still no QB to show! It seems to me that for every step foward, we take 2 steps back. Statistically we have a better offense than last year, but now we can be shut down by defenses throwing 8 in the box every play.

I say get Beck some game experience, its not like we are trying to make a playoff run this year! I mean he's the QB of the future, Cleo is just like Harrington. He can win a few games but he aint saving the franchise. Please fins get a new defense! We are old.

You know if the coaching staff in Buffalo weren't as "short sighted" as you chastise us as being than Trent Edwards would still be riding the bench in Buffalo. Correct me if I'm wrong but the only reason Losman is back in is because Edwards has a minor injury. Once he's healthy Buffalo's 3rd round pick will be back at the helm. It doesn't seem to bother Dick Jauron that he start a rookie quarterback and rookie running back.
point taken and you've made my point to. Starting Edwards has now led to an injury when Losman was always a good option. Keeping Edwards on the bench would have given him time to digest the league...their back to where they started and now have damaged goods.

Thanks for stating the obvious while at the same time ignoring the point.
I guess I'll just examine the depth chart too see who else is just one play away.
Why then don't you answer the obvious question-it was a stupid question and is why I answered it with the obvious.

But that's just it, we never had a line to provide time for the QB we never had. Again, we were provided a glimpse of what this offense could do under Scott Linehan with Gus Frerotte under center. Look at NE: stable line, good QB. You can do ANYTHING once the line is solid and you have a good QB... and did I mention good receivers?... those which we threw to the fire? We gutted our receivers in order to fix other problems... we're still at ground zero!!! When you rob Peter to pay Paul, you only exchange problems.

I don't think the current regime has robbed Peter to pay Paul. I think the seeds for this had been planted long before Cam got here. Wasn't it something like zero draft picks in a 5 or 6 year period are no longer with the team. I think that right there is the problem, not the fact that we lost a slot receiver (and aquired two draft picks and were not saddled with an unreasonable contract), our #1 WR (got a 2nd rd), TE (done nothing this year), K (compensated for and also done nothing). I would agree that all moves have not worked out the way I would have liked but I don't think everyone hits them all out. Porter is underplaying his contract big time, the depth on the d-line is suspect, secondary play is abysmal, etc. etc. etc. Special teams...don't get me going. All things considered, even at 0-8, I think Cam and Randy have made significant changes to the roster that the instant gratification crowd just doesn't see. If at the end of next year the Dolphins are still a very bad team then I think we need to evaluate these moves. I'm not happy about all the losing but I'm willing to wait.
