He is a LOOSER anyway.. There are reasons he fell to as low as he did.
They should a put the contract on the table and walked away, let him pick when he want to get paid.! He is a waste of money..

Being a Notre dame fan & of Quinn. I'am concern about's Quinn entry in to Proffessional football compitition. He (Quinn), having had the best of training at Notre Dame, now graduates into a higher level of football compitition. Like so many past college players, with Quinn's personal qualifications, Height, Weight and strong arm, which coaches just love to get, could turn out to be another flunkie.
Missing the the ten days of practice at training camp means only that his offense play calling will be limited to the down and outs pass over the middle routes and hand offs to his running backs.
Notre Dames tradition will ride very high on Quinns progress in pro-ball.
I wish him well.

Jesus Christ! Quinn held out this long for a contract like this??? This should have been hammered out before training camp even started. If he performs well, then he gets paid well. Even if he is a total bust, he still gets $7.75 million.

Quinn has a lot of catching up to do and had better understand that his chances of seeing the field this year as a starter are almost non-existent. He needs to keep his mouth shut and learn the game from the sidelines. He'll get his turn soon enough behind the Browns swiss-cheese line and then we'll see exactly how good he really is.

To the Big Lebowski - I don't really think it's necessary to swear as you did. And the name you used happen to belong to the Son of God who means a lot to many of us.

I'm an ND alum and a Browns fan. At ND, Quinn worked hard, was an excellent teamate, and showed leadership qualities. He tutored under a guy with several super bowl rings. He did lose some big games, but he didn't seem to let that get to him. It is better for Quinn and the team to let the veteran QBs handle the first half of the season, if not all of season #1, as was the case with Carson Palmer. We won't know how good he is until at least next season.

The Browns should have used Quinn's pick for a DT. Why some give up on a QB after a short time is beyond me...example, Favre had 19 TD and 24 Int in his second FULL year with Green Bay. With a much better O line this year and improved maturity Frye will be the man. Any QB would look bad if he is constantly running for his life.

The line, runnig backs, receivers all need to step it up so our QBs can do their job and keep the defence off the field more. We will kill our defence going 3 and out as in the past.

Christ in a handbasket! Give Quinn a shot. He may be the best thing ever. He may be crap. Probably somewhere in between.

For once.... I will agree with you... to some degree. I don't see WHY there was a hold-out. Makes me think that the hold-out was more of Condon's manufacture for his own purposes that anything else. Maybe he is trying to puff up his image as a "tough guy".*shrug*

It would be refreshing to see a first round QB for once have nothing to say and keep a low profile. I really miss that sort of thing from the "old days".

hay um Bench Quinn I am certainly not taking Vick Michael side but I am not sure if you are aware of this but Michael Vick the Football player is black. I would tend to think if he didnt like black people he would not have used that name, but that is just me. I think its a bit presumptuos to say "YOU JUST HATIN' BECAUSE THE MEN ARE BLACK " with that in mind. Anyways I happen to like the name Lovie Smith, thats a football name through and through. I also like the name Orpheus, that totally fits him by the way, it conjures up a picture of a really big dude.

Maybe Michael Vick hates dawgs so much because the Browns stomp his nuts into the ground everytime we play him. It would be nice if there were a few more QB's {{{{ahhhhahhhchewWorthisburger }}}} who we stomped into the ground on a regular basis.

Orpheus is actually a classical greek name. Refers to the 'Father of Song' in Greek mythology.
Considered one of the chief musicians and poets.

Bit um.... non-football-ish.... but if he's singing to himself while playing... works for me.
Rap is a bit of poetry anyways. That would work.

Well Charlie Frye, you have about 4-6 games to take hold of the starting job. If you play great and the team wins, you may never have to give it up if you continue to play well. You could me "the man" for many years and Brady will be traded. If you play mediocre or bad, Brady will be in there and you probably won't get another chance to start again in this league, unless Brady gets hurt or something. Talk about pressure.

Quinn should have signed a long time ago. He is a nobody in the NFL and should have to prove himself before he earns big money which most players are paid way to much as it is. Thats just like us everyday people you start at the bottom and work your way up. Hear that Brady?????

HOLY JESUS! My friend Jesus (pronounced: Hay-Seuss) is from Honduras. He is very religious. That's why we call him Holy Jesus. By the way, Quinn should not take a snap this year. Let him sit and learn. No need to rush him. Bring him along slowly and let him become the QB many of us think he can be. In the meantime, we have two servicable QB's.

We were wondering if the hold-out was Condon's idea or if Quinn was arrogant and greedy. I would like NOT to read anything more about him. If there's no Browns news, just print a photo of the team.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Capricorn

Mercury retrograde in your sign will cause some friction between you and other people during coming weeks. Matters that have been bubbling away in the background will come to the boil, forcing you to do something about them. Try not to overreact, nor to create a crisis out of something that's really very minor. You should also keep a strong sense of fair play and pay attention to every little detail.
