Taylor is a very good pick-up for the Raiders. Right level of NFL and West Coast Offense experience. Good opportunity for Taylor as well. With an impressive camp, he could move up the depth chart quickly.

I won't say that unless he ends up replacing him in New England. Right now Moss is doing the same thing in New England that he did when he joined the Raiders...all excited and serious about joining a new team and then if things don't go his way what will he do??

The Oakland Raiders are the winningest team in the NFL over the last 40 years. With a vastly improved offense added to a #3 Defense in the league and modern minded new coaches, all you haters hopefully got your last licks in last year. Cause this year you willeat those words.

I am guardedly optimistic as well. I believe that Al just might again be righting the Good Ship Raider. With a renewed interest in the progressive art of coaching, aka himself, John Madden, and Jon Gruden; infused currently with Rob Ryan, Tom Cable and hopefully Lane Kiffin; Al and his players seem relieved to finally have a modern, proven system on offence; not to mention more than a little bit of talent. How good can last year's 3rd ranked young and extremely talented defence become with even an average offence? Time will tell, but perhaps beer instead of prozac will once again suffice for us who love the Silver and Black! Cheers!

This thread is an inter team one ( I'm on the vikings forum) but, without malice, I must say, some one needs to just put Al Davis in front of a TV and, show him highlights of the 1976 Raiders and say, "See"! "It's all good Al"! Then, just secretly run the team and hope he doesn't know what you're doing (he won't). Good luck guys! I really mean it.

Hopefully Al Davis came to his senses and realized that Jon Gruden knew what he was doing after all we went through after dealing him away. Now Lane Kiffin has brought that same style offense back and as long as we are improving and winning Al will stay off his back.

No Avant, here's why I wished them luck:

Culpepper entered to a standing ovation with 9:38 left in the third quarter and promptly fumbled the snap from Jeremy Newberry. Rookie Alan Branch recovered to set up a field goal by Rackers. Culpepper fumbled again on the next drive but the Raiders retained possession.

The word "FUMBLE" appears twice in one paragraph. Look at my picture Avant. Go ahead, click on it to make it bigger so you can read his jersey. NOTHING Avant, NOTHING will ever change this!

Dante wears #8 for the Raiders. It's the place kicker that wears #11 for the Raiders and he only touches the ball with his left foot

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Taurus

Someone is very short-tempered, and they're liable to fly off the handle at a moment's notice. Maybe they're feeling vulnerable in some way or are desperately trying to defend what they see as their territory. Be sensitive to this and don't goad them into being even more irritable or upset than they are already. Frankly, it's just not worth it.
