<quoted text> Shitzenga makes pathetic hire after pathetic hire.
Since when is hiring Bill Parcells in ANY capacity a pathetic hire Roger??? I agree Huizenga made a HUGE mistake with Wannstadt, Saban, and even Cameron, but Bill Parcells? Cmon....even taking into consideration Parcells is not the coach as he was in previous stops, are the Pats, Jets, and Cowboys guilty of a pathetic hire as well? Ask each of those teams owners and I am sure those owners dont feel it was a bad move or ended up bad!! And yes, I realize Sparano is the coach....but dont you haters think Bill Parcells hired someone who just maybe reminds him of a younger version of himself? HMMMM??? The bottom line is if he is good enough for Parcells, he damn sure is good enough for me...and should be good enough for anyone else for that matter! Parcells knows more about NFL team operations than all of us combined...that much I am sure of.

I think Mueller was fine. However Cameron was not the guy from the beginning. He coulda been a good OC for the Dolphins, he just was not HC material
<quoted text>
Greg is right...Cameron was not the answer at head coach....and his biggest downfall was being too stubborn to hire an offensive coordinator. I heard he tried, but could not get anyone he truly wanted to come down...perhaps the man was not the convincing type...he sure did not convince the players last year to buy into his program! As far as GFK hating on Sparano and his inexperience, Cameron was just as inexperience last offseason. At least Sparano had the sense enough to hire an offensive coordinator! Or at least he had a GM who put his foot down and made it happen! I thought Mueller was on the right track as well..especially with the draft outlook he had in stockpiling picks..but he was not without fault for the debacle last year! Maybe it was unfair to let him and Cameron go after one year...but it sense whining about it and looking back! This much is for sure...Sparano will not get yanked after one year....this regime from top to bottom will be given the proper amount of time to rebuild the team properly...2-3 good drafts and seasons under the same system will do wonders!!!

<quoted text>Thanks, man. Good post by you too. It's good to see you back here. This has to be one of the best times of year for us true Phin fans, you know?! GO PHINS!!!
Thanks sure is an exciting time to be a fan! The changes were aplenty and much needed!! Welcome sight seeing a three headed regime instead of the single voice BS we have had the past decade! Three good minds are better than one! I cannot wait for camp to start and the hitting begins....position battles at QB, WR, TE, S, and LB are going to be awesome! I still think Beck will win...McCown may be the veteran buy why play him even if it nets 6 wins versus 4? Play the young guns and see what you have I say! GO BECK!!!

Hey GFK, just curious, I'm not hating or anything....are you a true Dolfan? I see you dislike Parcells and his hiring. I'm just asking if you are a diehard Dolphins fan or just a casual follower. I understand your AFC championship Game appearances since 1992 have me bummed as well! And this playoff drought has been hard on us all! I still think Huizenga means well...every coach we have had raves about the man and his efforts to field a winner...I think his lack of football knowledge and the lack of hiring a football man at the top of command chain has hurt us in the past....I feel the current regime will right the ship given the time and the structure is correct for success. No more head coaches playing GM overruling a Douchstadt taking Eddie Moore over Anquan Boldin! That really pi$$ed me off!!! Cya!

Perhaps when Huizenga is officially out and the new owner Ross takes full control, the new era of Dolphin's football will make a believer out of even you? You better not show up at a game dressed in Miami gear once they start winning after all that smack you talked!!

<quoted text>Where have you been, Rumble?!! Good to see you back!
Our O-line is looking pretty solid this year. Good call on the conditioning; we should have fewer injuries this year. We will be running SMASH-MOUTH football with Ricky and Ronnie, wearing down opposing Ds while keeping OUR D fresh.
If Davone Bess turns out to be a solid slot-receiver, I think we've got great speed (Ginn & Bess), height (TEs and Wilford), and the O-line is going to keep the QB off his back.
If Yeremiah returns to form, Jason Allen continues to improve, and the front 7 (Taylor, Porter, Holliday, Crowder, and the rookies) gel fast, we might be in for a HUGE surprise this year!
With a ball-control smash-mouth offense and defense, we have the POTENTIAL to win as many as 8-10 games this year (best case scenario, barring injuries and foolish play calling). I'd have to predict more like 4-6 to be realistic. We're going to miss Zach, to be sure.
What say you?!
After last season I've been a little blue.I think we were all stunned.I didnt expect much however you never expect that little.Water under the bridge!!! Now I think you got it about right. The catch here is do these guys play above their means and pick up a few games unexpected? Then I think you see your upper #.Come out and do'nt gel and poorly conditioned you see your lower # of wins!Either way we do better than last year so its win win to me.Great to see the whole crew of good fans posting constructively!HELL YEAH GO FINS!!!!

And which quatrain references the 2008 Miami Dolphins season and its inevitable failure oh Great-Seer-Of-Things-Still-Yet -To-Come?
Let's all just pack it in and go home and wait until next year. The Amazing Ethan has spoken. And in such a matter-of-fact manner, it must be true.
Old cliche for ya Amazing: "That's why they play the game." You just never know. Well, most of us anyway.
I can use sarcasm, too, but I won't. If you're a fan, great. So am I. But get off Ethan's case. He's not criticizing the Fins, just being realistic. Even Ireland has been careful to say they need a few more quality drafts before that happens. Are you going to make fun of his credentials?
