I was hoping Beck could have put last season behind him and be the starter this year.
However, it seem like Beck is struggling because he is trying to be perfect. I believe he should stop doing all that thinking and let the ball rip like Brett Farve did in Green Bay. Beck should start reacting and stop the over thinking.
Beck need to show major improvement by the end of the first pre-season game if he hope to be the sarting qb. I am still routing for you Beck even though it seems like your window of opportunity is closing very fast. GOOD LUCK.
jAs for Henne, he is on the right path. I know Sparano don't want to start a rookie qb but Sparano might have no choice but to start Henne.
McCown is going to be the back-up unless he puts a huge distance between him and the rest of the qb's

Looks like the dark cloud has moved over Miami again this season ...Ever since Marino steped on board the team went flat to less than flat ... And it must be the dark cloud .. Theres been too many players, coachs and even an owner change since the early 80s to try to point the finger ... Maybe somebody in the organization needs to look outside the box for some ideas .. Traditional football thinking sure don't seem to be working .....

"Maybe agent Drew Rosenhaus was on hand talking to VP Bill Parcells and GM Jeff Ireland about unhappy client Anquan Boldin."
No wouldn't that be something. My guess is that few teams have the cap room right now for the contract he'd want. Wonder what the Cardinals would need to get it done? Probably at least a first.

Beck is disappointing, but may turn it around. One week is too early to tell. Henne is encouraging. If things don't change he will take the starting job away from Beck and McCown. Also if McCown doesn't improve he will be gone and Quincy Carter signed. Feely better better start making his kicks or Dan Carpenter will unseat him. Carpenter already kicks off farther than feely and is a cheaper option. Got to love Junior Glymph. A 278 pound linebacker! I love that! I wonder who, if any, Miami will sign to replace halterman, and riley.

The quarterback situation will iron itself out or we pick one of your choice next year. What we need is a receiver who can separate and catch the rock. I'd be willing to give up what we got from Washington for Taylor to trade for Boldin although I'm sure that wouldn't fly. Just relax until at least we play a decent Bucs defense. And I can't believe Channing: how can he not like Ricky?

if we can get a good ground game going with ricky and ronnie... it will take pressure off the QB whoever it ends up being.. and the play action pass will be there... McClown is a PROVEN back-up... just like harrington.. you gotta go with beck to start the season IMO... i really believe he has it in him to be a solid QB

Sign Quincy and cut Beck. Enough is enough.

Miami will definately draft a qb next year. Beck will be cut after this year if he doesn't improve. And McCown is a journeyman at best. It won't be a #1 pick.

Would have been nice to the 'improved' Hagan show up in the scrimmage. I realize the QB situation is 'unsettled'(to put as kindly as I can) but still, I want to see some WR's learn how to make some plays for a change. This kind of performance is why I've not jumped on the Bess or Foster bandwagons yet. But it was only 1 scrimmage. We'll know more after the game against Tampa. No need to overreact.
Good to hear Henne continues to improve. May that trend accelerate.

unlike wanstedt.. cam... and these bozos.... parcell and co. will not be afraid of hurtin any1's feelings.. if henne is the best QB come week 1... he will be the starter... big ben started as a rookie and did well... but he didnt need to do anything crazy with how their running game was very effective... we could have the same type if success... we now for sure we have the quality at RB.. if the line does reasoanbly well we could have a decent season
