WV LOOKED VERY BAD SAT. NIGHT AT OUR OWN FIELD
THE OFFENSIVE COACH SHOULD BE FIRED NOW. AN BILL STEWART ALSO IF HE CANT DEFEND A KICKOFF RETURN NO BETER THAN THAT OVER A 100 YARD RETURN UNTOUCHED BY WV TEAM . FIRE BILL STEWART AN THE OFFENSIVE COACH NOW AN GET ANYONE WHO CAN DEFEND THE RETURN.
WV HAS GREAT TALENT THAT IS NOT BEING USED. WHY IS BROWN NOT BEING USED AT ALL. IF ALL ELSE FAILS CALL RODRIGUEZ BACK. WV LOOKS SO BAD THAT I WONT EVEN WATCH ANYMORE.THE COACHES ARE TO BE BLAMED NOT PAT WHITE.I WOULD BE ASHAMED IF I WAS THE COACH TO CALL THE BAD CALLS THAT WAS MADE.
WV FOOTBALL IS SINKING FAST.HIRE NEW COACHES NOW

You guys, no patience, either of you. Just ask TD-Dog, WVU Dave, Bulldozer, and a few others. There were years, everyone would be disappointed in the losses, but grateful that WVU was bowl eligible.

Bill Stewart should be fired; Mullen should be fired... It's their 1st year as HC & OC respectively. You got to give them a chance. Not to mention, they replaced 8 (Count em!), 8 starters on defense, and look at how well the defense is playing.

Finally, only good teams can pull rabbits out of the hat the way WVU did Saturday night. The fact that they lost it in OT gets back to finishing. Converting on only 4 of 20 3rd down tries won't get it done. In fairness, part of that was the Cinci defense, which was good last year and has 10 SR's & 1 JR starting this year - arguably the best defense WVU will face all year.

Now, I'm not without my complaints. For example, we did see more of passing off play-action. However, given Cinci's defense was attacking, especially hitting the middle, what happened to faking in that direction and option pitching to the outside? What happened to mis-direction? What happened to actually executing a reverse? WVU had it set up a number of times. A lot of these "wrinkles" which Mullins was to have installed aren't being used; we're only seeing glimpses of them. Where's the rest of it? What good is it, if it's not used?

Obviously, there are still bugs to be worked out in this remodeled system. It's just too bad the coaches couldn't see to do it after Pat White had left. He's a great competitor, player, and individual. It's too bad his send-off won't be a glorious as he deserves.

Give Mullins a chance. He did great things at Wake forest. I do not like Stewart. But I have not seen any good coaches out there that might consider coming to WVU. Let Stewart have his three years. Look at Pitt who has been patient. They are doing well.

Dave, you forgot to add, "...finally." to the end of your last sentence. Pitt gave Wannstedt 5 years. Hell, Syracuse gave Robinson 5 years. So, I agree with you. We have to give Stewart at least 3, as in years, not 3 qtrs of a season.

See, there? That's much better. In fact, that's one of the best jokes I've heard all year. I'm still laughing. See what a little imagination can do? Good job there, Evan; good job!
