while shankoe is stiff with no hands, T.G. is an old fart, anything more than a fifth rounder is a waste on our part. this team needs a QB, a head coach an offensive coordinator, and someone other than speilman, from whom the dolphin are just now recovering. a TE is low on the list.

Yeah, I'm sure that's just what Ziggy wants to hear. Spend more money on a player that will be mis-managed and mis-used in Minnesota.

Hey, Mr. Gonzalez. You want to go to a contender? Forget Minnesota. You will not make that putrid offense any better. Why? Because the coach will not know how to use you. You would never see the ball come your way. Wait a minute. Yes you would. While Frerotte gets sacked, you could be assigned the guy who recovers the fumbles when he goes down.

I'm not sure if heard this correctly and I don't have the time to check the records, but apparently the Vikings haven't had a 300 yard passer since 2005, which would mean that the Kick Ass Offense has NEVER produced a single one. In this era of NFL football, that's simply amazing. It's even more amazing since opposing defenses have been begging the Vikings to throw ever since Peterson arrived.

We can only wonder what Ziggy is planning. Does he want fans in revolt to reinforce a mid-season change? Is he just waiting until season's end? Does he want us to tank, so he has the cred with the NFL for a move to LA?

Look at the bluders. Drafts and trades:

Jackson and Cook: guys Childress pushed. We went into the season with a guy at qb who had never given any reason for optimism. Cook is a dual threat. He's soft and slow, plus out of position. Only AP measures up as a great pick.

Thomas Tapeh was coached by Chile in his former job. We all know TT as a stand up guy. He gets a bunch of money to come home and he sits out games where the back-up qb gets sacked and sacked and sacked. Chile please explain. Game management: 2 point attempt or kick for one: Chile please explain. Can't hear, FIRE CHILDRESS chant: One conclusion can be drawn. Chile is either deaf or lying. I could write alot more but I have a day job, and I'm making myself sick.

I'm afraid part of the reason for the vanilla play calling is Chilly and Bevel's total lack of confidence in the OL.

Give a 3rd round pick and TE/FB Jeff Dugan to acquire Tony Gonzalez. Maybe a 6th round pick also. Whatever happens don't let Brian Robison, chiefs had intersest in him during the Jared Allen trade.

I really wish the Vikings would do somethings smart for once. We need to score more touchdowns. Gonzalez is the way to go. WE NEED MORE TOUCHDOWNS!!!

I was thinking the same thing when I heard about Tony's desire to be traded. Shank-O was upstaged by Jimmy K. on that long pass and run, but who ever watches Jimmy in pass coverage? Tony would without a doubt help this team in the short run, but a second rounder for a 32 year old is a bit much. Remember, Shockey is 28, so he should be worth more in trade.
You're right to balk at Gonzalez' age. He could be a short term help, but I doubt we'll see it happening with that hard-nosed negotiator they have at GM in KC; you know, the one that made us pay heavily for Jared. If Gonzalez really wanted to do the trade, perhaps we could get him for a 4th and 5th, or maybe a 3rd round pick if they also agreed to take Shiancoe.

This scene is busy being played out in the USA elections. The women who once voted for Hillary Clinton are presently showing their allegiance towards Barack Hussein Obama, which is not a good thing and hopefully this warning has not come too late. With either candidate America is going to face future problems but the one candidate will make matters far worse than the other.
Too great a change is not always good and can unsettle an already unsettled and troubled nation. Obama possibly winning the USA elections may be one of the many important elements causing so much unsettlement in the USA economy and world-wide.
Strange that much of the crises has surfaced since he has decided to run for office and is worsening as time moves closer. The novelty of voting for a black man will wear off and one will be down to basics and reality on the ground.
Each person is influenced by ones background and sympathy towards their own race/races which can have disastrous consequences for those who are of the opposite race or those of the black race already residing in America.
The right person as president (in this case McCain) can pick up the pieces and move towards healing the economy, sorting out homes, giving back jobs. He will sort the situation out without making things worse in such troubled times.
Troubled times are not the right time to change things drastically and still rely on the thought pattern of someone who has had so much turmoil in his own life. Dont believe that everything will just come right over night as politics is not magic.

Obama scoffs at the Bible, calling sermon on the mount radical and trashing the Old Testament. Do you folk really know who Obama is, do not be fooled by his smooth talk and looks. You still have a chance to do more research.
Dude, I am not even an Obama supporter but take this propaganda somewhere else. This is blasphemy and there is no room for that on this Board. I mean really, there is a million other relavent poster boards in which you can express these views on, please take it elsewhere.
