With the chiefs record of drafting, 10 picks will not sell any season tickets.

I really can't express my comments in this forum.
It makes me SICK that the HUNT Family is Stupid enough to keep c.the peterhead as GM. Keep a H/Coach that is so for behind in common sense that they think next year will be differant.
Cheifs are gons be last and useless untill Hunt makes the big changes at GM and a real H/Coach Nuff Said.

If this franchise is rebuilding, why not start off with a big guy like Long out of Michigan, and then make a trade for your young signal caller like Brady Quinn?

So Carl and Herm will be back in 08. Unfortunately, a hell of a lot of Chiefs fans won't be. Maybe Clark Hunt is dumb enough not to know when he is being job'd ... but most Chief's fans are! The rest of the NFL couldn't be happier ... With Carl running the show the Chief's won't take any blue chip draft prospects [leaving them for the other teams] and with Herm coaching they don't have to worry about the Chief's trying to beat them on Sunday ["We have a plan .. "Keep it close, don't beat ourselves ... let the other team do it"!!!].
Bad drafting+Bad coaching=Bad results!!! Why should anyone, anyone ..[including Clark Hunt who asked Santa Carl for a better year in '08] believe that Carl and Herm [The Titans of Failure] can do any better in '08. Carl, see a shrink, take some Zoloft, get some help ... but don't expect the fans of the Chief's to believe in you or Herm ... the record speaks for itself and it doesn't suggest next year will be anything more than another "rebuilding year".

I love the chiefs, I have kc chiefs tatted down my right arm. That said it is becoming an abusive relationship. Every year they tell me it is going to be different that they will change and get that super bowl win. Then they break my heart. The truth about it is they are cheap. They don’t want to pay player so we get league left overs hold outs and guys we devolve going some where else. No more I have had it, not a single dollar of mine goes to them until they make a splash in the free agent market, and keep the little talent we have!!!! I hope you will do the same.

ESPN...you have got to help the ChiefNation speak to the organization. Bottom line, EVERYONE both in and out of the league knows that the Chiefs have major repairs to make. Why can't the Chiefs recognize the fact that after 20 years of this half brained mentality...YOU CAN'T TEACH AN OLD GM NEW TRICKS???? We want to make a valid and substantial team with KC...can we address the issues where the problems lie and make a run in the playoffs??? HUNT FAMILY...give Ol Carl the axe please.

How funny that King Carl talks about a plan...a plan that's been in the works for two years! What a bunch of rubbish. He and his buddy, Herman Edwards (not Herm..."your mother gave you a name son, and it's Herman") have never won a thing and never will. They are two more examples of overblown egos throughout professional sports as evidenced in the fact that they never admit any mistakes. They either talk about the past, or about the future, showing no responsibility for today, which is what they get paid for. Ironically, Herm's parting words, "ya, I'm glad the season is over...now we can get on with improving our football club." Excuse me, but am I the only one that thinks that is what he should have been doing since summer camp began before this season?? If he wasn't successful last year or the year before that, I don't see how he expects to do so next year. Time to dump, Carl, Herman, and Brodie.

I can't buy it yet that Carl is staying. We are hearing it from his own mouth. Carl is arrogant enough to assume that he will back next year and I've learned over the years not to trust a single thing out of the asshole's mouth. I am going to wait until I hear it from Clark.

I just graduated from college and an stoked that I can now afford season tickets, but I'm not standing one foot inside Arrowhead until Carl Peterson is gone.

I thought Herm Edwards left the Jets to go to the Chiefs because he could lead them somewhere other than the bottom of the standings. The team wasn't competitive, didn't have fire, and after 3 years he's in charge of rebuilding? We've now seen plenty of proof that Edwards inherited a Jets team packed with talent and could do nothing with it. He was just fortunate to be in the right place and right time and eke his way into the playoffs, much like the Vikings did this year. He's not head coaching material and it's disappointing he'll be doing it again for years to come.

Its funney to read that herm is thinking of a whole new offensive plan.So doesnt that make this year a major f---up on there part.why didnt they use the plan this year.where is this guy gettin all these plans of bullchit.Cant they see he doesnt know what the flip he is doing. This moron is running all the good players out ,including he ran priest out,he didnt have a injury.priest just saw through his bullchit. This is such a embarrassment to the fans.they keep saying we are trying to get rid of the dick era,as far as i could see dick won games.Herm dude you are running out of bullchit to say to the press where does this end.

I live in Tulsa,OK and your either a Cowboys fan or a Chiefs fan. Myself, I'm a Chiefs fan. I've always gone for the underdog and that's a good thing b/c as long as CARL PETERSON has his signature on the Chiefs they will be losers. The only hope for the Chiefs is a New GM. I guess it'd only be fair to give Herm another season but if he isn't at least .500 next your i'd ask him to step down as Head Coach and become the Assistant Coach b/c i believe he's a great motivator and understands todays players. FIRE CARL PETTERSON! PLZ!!!!!!!!!!

Of course these two butt buddies will be around next year. Dick Vermeil, Carl Peterson, and Sperm Edwards have ties going back to UCLA. Even before Philly. This is simply the good ol' boys club running this franchise into the ground. The sad part is I don't think Clark Hunt cares. He's lived his whole life in Dallas and probably worships at the temple of Tony Romo and Troy Aikman. To him, this franchise is just a business and it's obvious in the fact that he won't fire these two clowns. I think Tony Gonzalez said it best, "I never though I'd see this out here in Kansas City." Neither did I.

As much as I agree with every statement on this site, the reality is this situation is being treated as a business. Carl and Herm are under contract. Next year will be Herm's 3rd of his deal and Carl will be up on his contract (if memory serves). If significant results are not produced (e.g. Brodie doesn't show improvement, the middle of the defensive line doesn't do a better job of stopping the run AND our Off Coordinator doesn't do better play calling with a better Off Line, etc), then Clark Hunt will be forced to make a move. Free Agency and the Draft will be the first indicators and Day 3 of the draft could be a formal linching party for King Carl and Herm....
