Thank God for players like Todd Heap.

He's a class act. Probably the most humble and best player on the team bar none. If all the players had the mindset and mental toughness of Heap, we'd go undefeated.

As the NFL evolves more and more into the NBA style of "It's all about me" players, Heap stands out every game as a guy who does his job, puts the ball down and goes back to the huddle. He's on the very short list of Ravens that you wouldn't mind having dinner with. He's a great player and person. Same thing can be said about Stover and Mike Anderson.

I still don't know how he held onto the ball after that last hit. Most WR's would have pulled their arms back in and not even attempted the catch. TO included.

This article was a relly kind way of saying he would have had alot more success on a team that had a healthy offense.I feel for Todd Heap We'll never know what kind of numbers he could have actually put up.He's taken way to many unneccesary shots due to passes that have put him in defenseless positions in DB killzones and he still holds on to the ball. He's a Ferrari thats been treated like a bumper car at a carnival.

I'd rather have Heap than Gonzalez, Gates, Winslow, Shockey and Cooley any day of the week and especially twice on Sundays.
