I'm a big fan of both Kelly and Seymour, but their age is really starting to show. Kelly has been one of my favorite players during this era of losing, but I've always thought he was a solid player and has really grown up a lot these last few years and has shown more leadership skills and I think playing long side Seymour has played a major role in that (rather than that primadonna Warren Sapp). Desmond Bryant is a pretty good player too, but I think the Raiders are making a serious youth movement and the older guys like Kelly, Seymour, Carlisle and Palmer will really have to state their cases to remain on this football team.

seymour is still a good player and almost good enough to keep around. he's tough, and often plays with injuries, that shows a lot. he rarely practices and still contributes. but also his age and aking injuries have slowed his playing time? yeah, time to move on or retire. played the role of a dedicated RAIDER and i wish him the best but, he won't be back.

Both Seymour and Kelly would have to be prepared to take MASSIVE pay cuts to stay with the Raiders if I were Mr. McKenzie. Bryant is beginning to look like an impact player.
