well, does the sort of endorsement automatically make him "great"? I mean those are some pretty big names, but if I know anything its that Terry Bradshaw is an idiot, and that Joe Montana is the guy who still refuses to acknowledge how good Steve Young was.

And the Pro Bowl? That popularity contest whose invitees have more arrests and fines than....... I don't even know.

Peyton Manning could definitely be considered overrated.

There are some things wrong with your facts though.

The offense that Manning plays in and is basically desgned around didn't really develop till after the turn of the decade. He only had Harrison for his whole career. Wayne didn't develop as a receiver until about 03. I'm not sure how you think he had a great offense line.

But the one thing Manning has never had? A solid defense.

be it shutting down great quarterbacks Jim Kelly Kurt Warner, and Donavan McNabb in the superbowl, or shutting down Peyton Manning in the playoffs.

or making an offense that makes reads easy for a quarterback.

The kind that can take a guy who hadn't started a game since high school and win 11 games in the NFL.

Who upon going to another team looks like a guy who hadn't started a game since high school.
