Yes, you're right. I have no problem with that. What I do have a problem with is the fact that I do criminal defense, and this is not the way the charges should have gone. If I were pulled over with my friends in the car, ALL OF US would have been charged for possession of a small amount and paraphernalia. 99.9% of the time, any police officer in the Lehigh Valley would say "I don't know who's smoking that, it's constructive possession and you are all getting charged". Everyday people come to the office and say how one person admitted it was theirs and the rest weren't smoking, yet all were charged. That's not fair...must be nice to be famous

These cops had nothing else better to do than to stop a professional football player for a small amount of pot. This is umbelievable how much time and tax payers money is spent on this B.S.

I was thinking the same - at least in-connection with the driver/owner.

I've heard one horror story of a guy who bought a used boat, then got boarded by the USCG for beer. A search turned-up roaches, stuck in the seat cushions....from the prior owner. The boat was seized.

All in all, this Parker case is a huge waste of time and money - as is every prosecution for small amounts/personal use.

They were pulled over for traffic violations. The cop had no way to know if it was you, me or a Eagle player before pulling the person over.

Thanks, "Educated", but I was talking about why the owner of the car was not charged with possession.

Screw that. Use the dictionary as rolling paper.

Daily Horoscope for December 15

Gemini

You're viewing the world from a wonderfully optimistic perspective today, which makes you feel good. However, it's important that you keep your feet on the ground and don't allow yourself to be carried away by wishful thinking or unrealistic expectations. These will lead you in the wrong direction and you'll be bitterly disappointed when reality intrudes on your lovely dreams.
