They have it wrong ...
TO BREAK A TIE FOR THE WILD-CARD TEAM
If it is necessary to break ties to determine the two Wild-Card clubs from each conference, the following steps will be taken.
If the tied clubs are from the same division, apply division tie breaker.
If the tied clubs are from different divisions, apply the following steps.
Two Clubs
Head-to-head, if applicable.
Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games, minimum of four.
Strength of victory.
Strength of schedule.
Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed.
Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed.
Best net points in conference games.
Best net points in all games.
Best net touchdowns in all games.
Coin toss.
Ravens beat Denver so they would get the spot
Now that you say that, I think you are right...the NFL site doesn't make sense... Maybe they don't know their own rules.

Well on like Ray the Knife Looser Louis doing that brother and getting some dumb a$$ to take the blame for it. Big Ben has had nothing proving against him and won’t because he did nothing wrong the Bimbo is looking for some quick cash. And yes the Ravens at least most of them are nothing BUT STREET THUGGS.

Ah yes....the pitiful Steelertards are out in force, spewing their typical Urine & Black colored brand of what they try to claim to be "knowledge" of football. Your chances are pretty SLIM of making the playoffs. Just watch and LISTEN t teh tv shows to see the truth.

Personally I hope neither team gets into the playoffs. Same goes for the Eagles and their miserable excuse for fans.

I don't have anything against Mason, but I LOVED the fact Frank "Phlegm" Walker was the goat not once, but twice! Karma.
