So I guess you're not talking about the game Sun. night. Or I guess that game against New England doesn't count. Quit fri*king crying. The NFL is not trying to **** Baltimore.
Yea...I mean it isn't like they gave a city like Jacksonville an expansion team over Baltimore or anything. I mean, Jacksonville is such a logical choice for a professional sports franchise. It isn't like Tagliabue was a Redskins fan and friends with Jack Kent Cooke and no one is suggesting that had anything to do with it.

It's frustrating that the Ravens won't just go away. You're not a bad team, but the schedule makers have favored you over the Steelers due to the lackluster performance last year. If Stength of Schedule came into play, we wouldn't even be having this conversation.
According to the NFL, the Ravens had the 5th toughest schedule this season.

Get your facts straight next time.

Correct. But in fairness, The Ravnes DID go 5-11 last seasosn. When you have a bad season, you get less prime time games overall (Monday night Football, Sunday Nigh Football, etc.), and less on your home field. If The Ravens finish up at 11-5, and STILL do not get prime time games at home, THEN that will definitely be some type of bias.
Actually, the year after the Ravens won the Super Bowl, they were made to travel for their first Monday night game. That was almost unheard of in that the SB champion from the previous year had almost always played their first game at home.

It's possible that the Ravens could run the table, finish 12-4, end up tied with the G! D! Steelers, and STILL not make the playoffs!!

No, it's not possible. If they have 12 wins they would get the wildcard no matter what else happens because they are currently in line for the 6th seed and none of the other teams below them has 8 wins.

True!
Facts are facts!
We real Ravens fans have to hope they continue to improve each week!!
Eight wins at this point sure beats the five wins of all last season!!

Remember when Boller and the Ravens beat the living snot out of the Packers a couple of years ago? Hell, that started a bunch of "Is Brett Favre finished in the NFL" discussions.

I like our chances Sunday night. I'd like it even better if a studio spotlight fell on Keith Olbermann's head and made him a mute.

<quoted text>exactly, lets get next year's MNF game that I am sure they'll schedule for TV, lets get it in Baltimore this time. Pitt hasn't lost a home MNF game since the 70's. Talk about handing a team a victory or 2 a year.
nothing is handed son. they go out and play the game. we play 2 games against the ravens every year one at home and one on the road. there is no advantage of what time it is played. if your team cant get up for the big game is it unfair scheduling. or just ignorant fans making excuses

Actually if they win 12 games they would win the division because that would mean they beat Pittsburgh.

actually the steelers can still win the division with a loss to the ravens because the tie breaker would be head to head, tied, division record, tied, record vs. common foes depends on what happens the rest of the way (ie dallas, jacksonville, redskins, titans), if thats tied then the strength of wins (meaning the record of teams beat, steelers have this easy) i doubt it will get that far but i either way they will both be in the playoffs and next weeks game will be a battle

sounds like another hater. that qb threw for 400 yds in back to back games before we played them. give the steelers credit just like i give the ravens credit they have had a great season.

I recall 3 times the Ravens wore black and won- In 06,last game against Buff, the Green Bay game whe n we won 48-3 and the Cleveland game, when Reed picked it off in the endzone and ran 106 yards for the TD.But none of that matters, we could wear pink thongs and beat the Skins Sunday night. They arent prepared for that Defense. The 3 times we have played Portis he has done Zippo. Twice in Denver and once in Washington. Smack those girls back to Raljon or Landover. Fight for all Dc, you Idiots dont even play in DC. Just Remember this Post on Monday morning ladies.
