I have watched every one of Miami games-- when a team tries to run against them it plays into their game plan-- you have to pass first and run second- the absolute reversal of what Billick did-- please have a game plan not to protect Flacco with short passes and screen plays but throw down field against one the the leagues worst pass defense. Evert team they played fell behind Miami early because they tried to run first--It wasn't until the 4th quarter did they finally realize they could pass deep against them.

What about the defense Mike? They will have to take the field also and didnt look all that good last week. Will there be some resemblance to a pass rush out there? How about special teams have they done anything to improve upon the joke that they put out there week in and week out like BLOCKING? More to this game than just Flacco Mikey. So as a columnist you should get out to practice and see if they are doing something different to win rather than just hope they are some how becoming better football players.

I think there's a very good chance. But, do the Ravens really have anything to lose at this point? Who knows, maybe they should let Flacco fling it. Of course, there are those pesky interceptions.

I actually agree with almost everything Preston says here. I do disagree that Flacco has thrown down the middle of the field. In the Pittsburgh game he had a great pass to Mason and he's hit Heap a couple of times fairly deep down the middle. Not many but I think it's one of Flacco's strengths and they should go to it. The Safeties seem to be cheating to the sidelines with him.

why not move Heap t0 the outside...then we would have two fine receivers in Mason and Heap...Heap is big and can get down field...we have other tightends who can block.....

I hate 'Game Plans' and 'Packages' and all the other chalk-board stuff the coaches dream up every week. If a team crowds the line of scrimmage---i go up top (or at least over). And i don't care if it's the very first play from scrimmage and that's not what i planned to do since practice earlier in the week. If an opposing defense shows me they mean to shut down the run from the gitgo then punish them with at least an intermediate pass and i mean right off..awwwgggggggggggghhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

well Mike , maybe you are right, but as we all know NFL coaches are so afrid of being fired they usually play it so close to the vest that I doubt there will be much caution being thrown to the wind. btu if they did and it didn't work out it could not be much worse, the biggest problem is that the ravens have recievers who cannot get open and cannot make plays, we need some playmakers to help our young QB out a little bit, i have seen quite a few passes that good playmaking recievers would have made to help Flacco out and just did not make the palys!

The Ravens are pathetic, Jim Harbaugh is pathetic, Ozzie Newsome is pathetic, the whole city of Baltimore is pathetic, Sheila Dixon is pathetic, and the Ravens fans, especially, are the most pathetic of all. The only good thing about that desolate city is that the ghetto thugs keep killing each other.

CORRECTION: Flacco is averaging 5.9 yards per pass not 9.4.

The game is in Miami, not B'more, so I don't think many people will be strolling to Sliders or Pickle's after the game unless they have them across the street from Dolphin's stadium too.

Also, I, for one do not want to "try you", sounds a little weird to me, punk.
