Hey whoever you are I think its the coaches job to decide that, and I think I got pretty good chance to be the starter.

Tyrell, you obviously havent been reading nothing about the ravens lately. Troy Smith is still trying to recover from swollen tonsils and Boller is nursing a shoulder injury. It seems to me that Flacco will be the starter, only if though Ozzie decides to pick up a veteran QB. But other than that, its very possible that Flacco will be starting on Sunday. And I think there is a few reasons why he deserves to start. For example, he has shown poise in the pocket, he has more passing yards than both Boller and Smith and hes the only guy that actually threw a touchdown pass in the preseason. So its pretty clear that Flacco wants the starting job real bad and heck if hes really ready to go and get the job done then go for it. The only concern out of him, is can he be ready for the blitzing schemes and coverages? We'll have to find out.

Our starting quarterback beyond week 1 may not even be on the team yet.

Given the current QB situation--with Flacco starting, who is going to be the back-up QB? They need to get one in place as soon as possible!

Ozzie said that the current roster has 52 players for now so I'm guessing the last spot is being reserved until the ravens find a veteran QB to sign. I have a feeling that Boller's shoulder injury is alittle bit serious than all of us thought, so I think Boller will probably land on the IR right before the season opens on Sunday. As for Flacco, he will most likely get the start but if Smith recovers within this week or next week, I think he'll take over unless Flacco puts on a lights out performance.

Since his lame performance even going back to his showing in the National Championship game, he does not have to prove anything. We all know he sucks.

Joe Flacco.
Proof that the Pitt Panthers let go of some good players (Not sure, but I think he transferred from Pitt to Delaware in 2006).

The rook played pretty damn well. Hopefully, he regresses before we play him the first time this year. Otherwise, I see Mason and Clayton with a LOT of passing yards.

M4P? C'mon now. We know the Purple Garbage Chickens don't stand a chance. But you could at least leave them with the possibility.
