Brennan's comments about getting back into shape means he allowed himself to get out of shape this summer. Which raises the question as to how much he really wants it? Did anyone hear anything about Brennan having possibly been out drinking the night before the Sugar Bowl game? If so, that would explain everything and confirms that J. Jones was probably spending more time smooching with SMU then watching over his own team in Orleans.
Heard the rumor about drinking before the sugar bowl. Heard the entire offensive line was there too. Don't know if it's true, just heard.

But colt was out of shape because he had surgery on his hip! I'm sure he isn't totally out of shape, he is out of shape as a football player. I'm sure he did whatever he was physically able to after his surgery.

Colt was invited to a BBQ in Washington DC area with a group of Hawaii folks. He came and showed everyone what a class act he is. I am pulling for him.

Get help girl. You hate football at UH and you hate the players. Are you cranky from staying up all night again?
No, Alice hates UH football because she/he can't get any of the players to be even remotely interested in her even when she's totally naked.

????? He's a registered sex offender. Look it up and see what happened while he was attending the University of Colorado in Boulder. This is the kind of guy you wish your daughter would bring home?????

Sorry, I guess I should have said that he had been required to be a registered sex offender at one time...

Why does everyone hate on colts past? we sould be happy for him. This is a dream for all football players yet not everyone gets that chance. Colt is doing what he loves doing and is taking every advantage of it. I had the pleasure of watching the past 8 seasons at Aloha Stadium and it was a blast. Thanks to all the former hawaii players who have help put UH on the map, especially colt.

I just had to resurrect this thread. All you neer-do-well doomsday critics- it is only a start of course, but can you say "Colt Brennan Number 5 QB Washington Redskins in his professional debut was 9 for 10 passing, 123 yards 2 touchdowns no interceptions for a QB rating of 157.0. I can't wait to hear the critics on this one, which will be something like: 1) It was only preseason 2) He wasn't playing against the first string... yaddah. He wasn't playing a slouch team, a WAC team- he was playing against the Indianapolis Colts- they were 13-3 last year. They lost in the Divisional Playoffs. So, just how does that crow taste anyhow?

I do think that the Washington Redskins first and second string quarterbacks are hearing footsteps about now. That should be good for the team.
