That is the way the teams are greeted when they get here in El Paso!!! so what is the problem Mariachi Killer? I guess you not going to the game!! Good, don't need someone like you there.
Plus I don't think the teams mind it!!!
Wow Maria Conchita! Please don't embarrass us more than you have to. Your grammar tells me you graduated from Bowie High.

Let me guess, you left El Paso because you think your better than El Paso!!! It's part of the culture, something you'll never get!!!
My original post wasn't meant to disrespect El Paso nor it wasn't to troll. In fact, I love El Paso and wouldn't move anywhere else. My point was that outsiders have always stereotyped this city as a poor Mexican town. Our City Council is too blame. We've had many opportunities to grow and bring more jobs and businesses here. When's the last time you've been to the airport? It's embarrassing. First time visitors here should not be greeted with that as it is their first impression of our city.
You can say Mariachis are a part of the culture and I will agree. However, we could do so much more for these two teams visiting.
GO SOONERS!!!

that the water system is the best in the country?
that the snuggie was originally a Mexican blanket?
that it is not necessary to have documentation to cross into Mexico, and only a quarter to walk across?
and that its always tax free weekend there?

Ok, maybe the Mariachis aren't all that bad for the city. However, just don't let Mayor Cook show up at the airport with his guitar singing 'Feliz Navidad'!
LMAO!!!!

I wasn't accusing you of trolling. I was aiming that at the other individual. JoeBlow. I can't disagree with you about our elitists.

wow! what are you guys arguing about? lol I represent both teams and we aren't here to judge you as a people and city. We are just here to have fun and spend some money on new years eve. There are alumni groups in your city from both universities and all of them say they love El Paso. So say hello, hola, or howdy when you see me! I'm the tall, cool guy wearing all red. Go Cardinal! Peace!

I'm with you, big mike. And don't worry about some of the buffoonish remarks made on this board. They just go to prove that there are idiots everywhere. El Paso has been an international city for several centuries and we have had no trouble living amongst each other.

The Mariachi Killer guy can obviously needs some psychiatric counseling as you can see. With the construction of the new medical school, maybe El Paso will finally get some good psychiatrists, and at a cheaper price. If you can't afford them, what good are they?

More arguments for a good health care bill if you ask me.

I see this game shaping up as the Brawn versus Brains Bowl. Festus versus Einstein. It will be a fun game to watch. I expect a sold-out rowdy crowd.

Lol, thanks for the recommendation for some psychiatric counseling! I cannot believe my opinion about " Mariachis and the EPIA " snowballed into this, lol. So you respond to my "buffonish" remarks with similar ones from yourself. You are correct about one thing though. There is an abundance of idiots out there, lol.
