They won on that last play due to pay off of the refs, it was obvious to everyone watching the game, an obvious "missed" call on the facemask on Webb,,it was absolutly pathetic. The NFL is so dang dirty its rediculous! how much longer do they think they can keep getting away with this? A penalty that was so obvious to millions watching around the world that the "professional" refs couldn't see it? wow,,
The Lions rank right up there with the dirty playing saints who hire "extras" to blow whistles on the sidelines, just plain dirty.

I agree with both of you above If the NFL is fixing games Heres a perfect scenario New England & Green Bay if the Packers go undefeated The draw as we know is New England also once a unefeated team & also they are to date the last team to beat Green Bay This would be the perfect super bowl The most viewed with one of the bigest draws ever

Lucky Lady..... where is the proof that the Saints HIRED someone to blow whistles? The local home town TV show? What were they doing on the Saints sideline during a game? How is their audio so much better than all the network cameras and sound crews?
When I lived in NO and had season tickets we brought all kinds of noise makers to the games. Air horns, trumpets, drums, and yes whistles too. If it happened, and I doubt it, consider that it may have been a fan supporting his beloved team.

Then the 'fix' is in. Saints and Texans in the Super Bowl.#1 offense against #1 defense. The young rookie Yates learning at the feet of the master Brees. What a story line!!! AND both teams from the South to boot!!! Man what a match to go with the BCS Championship game.

I think I would like that better then my scenario Because then the Packers wouldnt be in the super bowl & I wouldnt have to listen to there fans brag about them being undefeated lol
