Chester Taylor wasn't always Chester Taylor. They all take time to develop. Toby is a smart and tough guy. He could very well could develop into that change of pace back they Vikes need. Maybe a Mike Alsot type back?

He's going to be fun to watch for a long time.

...very true...watching Toby on Sunday, you can see that he is starting to get used to the NFL game...he reminds me a bit of Riggins when he played for the Skins...and he wasn't too shabby either...GO VIKES!!!

This week you will see just how bad Gerhart is. The Vikings, will lose to the Bills. Gerhart, will be one of the few RBs not to rush for 100 yards against the Bills. This week the Bills embarrass the Vikings and it's back to the disfunctional attitude of the 2010 season .

Seeing the Vikes have no pass rush, I expect the Bills to throw until their QB's arm falls off, If AP plays, Vikes have a chance, if he doesnt Bills win, Big Toby get 22 carries for 60 yards and 2 fumbles.

22 carries for 76 yards is a breakthrough game? I guess its the Vikes, set the standards low...

Gerhart is a beast he just needs more reps.If he had played all game he'd a had over 100 yds. He's no Adrian but i guarentee there was a bunch of players in the cold tub after tackling that load...

Based on the fact that the Vikings, haven't won two games in a row since the end of November, 2009.

If Harvin and Rice show up, Gerhart will have a great game. If Farve has no one to throw to to get 9 out of the box, Gerhart will still have a good game. Gerhart is only one of 11 on offense, you can't put the whole game on his back. I guarentee he will do his job...what more could you ask?

I like Toby. Although he's no AP, he has much room to become a great running back. I don't know why everyone is being a bitch about how he performed. 22 rushes for 76 yards, I'd rather take that than none at all and it definitely helped with his TD. He's still a rookie and hasn't yet been used that much on the rushing, so he just needed time like all players to become better and consistent. Leave the kid alone, because he's already more productive than some players in the league.

Peterson should rest that sprained ankle; he's too valuable to risk aggravating the ankle and pushing the injury into next season. Toby must step up again and carry the load against Buffalo. If the line blocks for him, Gerhart will gain the yards. Skol Vikings.

Tough call Mark, if the Vikes are still playing for post-season status then I think AP plays, Bills are the best 2-9 team in the league and have lost a lot of real close games to elite teams this year. But I see your point...why risk our MVP aginst a 2-9 team at home when the post season looks like a pipe dream currently.

Vikes have a good rush.......you are confusing/equating number of sacks as being synonymous with a poor rush. Vikes had 4 sacks last game and Allen has 4 and a half sacks in his last 6 games. Granted it has not been as effective as it was last year but the pressure has still been there.

Robison will most likely be playing for Edwards this weekend, I guarantee Fitzpatrick will be able to name the brand of toothpaste he used that A.M. before the game is complete.

Vikes D is 9th overall and 5th against the rush, teams have been going to the run and shortpass game earlier this season against them due to the Vikes being behind all the time, this is one reason the D line hasn't accumulated a alot of sacks; last season the Vikes were ahead in their games so teams were forced to pass more and go downfield due to being behind, this allowed the line more time to rush the opposing QB's.

Yeah, really. When it is all said and done and he is retired he is one of guys that can say "He did it his way". Ricky is in a league of his own.

Ricky is one of the few guys who can say "I just want to get back on the grass and light up the joint" and mean it.
