In the event that you've been under a rock or in a cave for the past day or two, you've probably heard by now that the Denver Broncos and quarterback Peyton Manning have come to terms on a contract, and that Manning will be introduced by the Broncos this afternoon as their new signal caller. Joe Webb does everything better than Tebow so why would we want him? Plus Webb doesn't have an insane following behind him.

Insane following = ticket sales.

When did Webb take us to the playoffs. Tebow did take the Broncos to the playoffs.

Jimbo da Bimbo; give it a break, Tebow is on a terrible team and he will get drug down with New York too. Broncos did him no favors at all.

Tim Tebow is just a decent hard working young man attepting to be the best he can be and he is not afraid of showing who and what he is.
I have a saying for inept people.
He's doing the best he can with the skills god gave him.

In this case God gave him a noodle arm and he really needs to have his eyes checked. I bet a good pair of coke bottles would help him see who his teammates are so he would quit heaving incomplete passes. He's such a proud traditional NFL player, understands the history of the game.

Although I am a Tebow fan, I have never thought he had the pro QB skills to be a first rate player. I never understood why Denver used a first round pick on him, I guess that Elway does not have the ability to judge a QB as well as he could play QB.
Tim Tebow is just a decent hard working young man attepting to be the best he can be and he is not afraid of showing who and what he is. I will never understand why so many people disliked him for that. I guess they would rather cheer for a cowardly punk who tortures and kills dogs.
The dog torturer and killer can play NFL QB you see, that's the big difference. All the support for Tebow the man? Fine. Infiltration football fandom with this nonsense just because he shares your same archaic belief in invisible old men who sit in the sky? Not cool. Not at all. There were playing of religious players in the league before Tebow. Where was the fanatical support of them? Nowhere. Because Teblow is a born-again, he looks like an all-American cornbred reminder of yesteryear that you kooks want to shove down the throats of the sensible people trying to move forward and EVOLVE.

Reason most football fans dislike Tebow is we love NFL football.

We watch sports center to hear about the NFL but during football season every other story is about a QB who can't play his position at a NFL level.

Ok, Tebow had one year of starting at QB for Denver and won one playoff game. Mikey Vick has had how many years and how many years has his teams made the playoffs and how many times has he won more than one playoff game in any year.
As I stated, I have never thought Tebow was a very good to great QB, however, your big problem is that, like me, he does not give a fcuk what you think about his beliefs.
I do move forward and evolve, however, not in the direction that YOU would choose.
Please. You think Teblow's the messiah, that's why you're on this forum to begin with. You're not some neutral observer making sure noone piled on unjustly. You're saying you didn't think he was a very good to great QB for Denver to show that you're rational and that you should be listened to. WRONG! Take a survey of 1000 people who don't believe dogs are on par with people, who aren't jesus-freaks, and most importantly-WHO KNOW A THING OR TWO ABOUT FOOTBALL, and they'll all say Vick is eons better than Teabag. By the way, the sane people in this world want to move forward not backwards.

Tebow and Rex Ryan. I wonder if their could be a worse match.

Unless the church approves of foot fetishes.

In any event, Sanchez and Tebow better stay on their toes!

I see a lot of anti-Tebow resentment to his clean cut lifestyle and a lot pro-Tebow mania based on his character. While he has shown some flashes of brilliance, he has still not proved himself as a solid NFL QB. The bottom line is that he will succeed or fail on the football field because of his ability or lack of it. While character is a very good thing, by itself, it hardly guarantees success on a football field. Vince Lombardi used to say that the hardest thing for him to do was to tell somebody with great character and work ethic that his best efforts were not good enough to make the team. Let's just wait and see what happens.

While I would like to see Tebow succeed, I am not one of those fanatical fans making any overstated statements about him as a player or buying Tebow jerseys. I respect his character and simply wish him well.

Exactly. The real breakout story of last season was Cam Newton if you're going on actual quarterbacking skill. But Tebow is the more wholesome image the NFL and ESPN want to peddle. And as we've seen, lots of people are responsive to the feel-good Tebow story, including non-NFL fans and casual NFL fans. This is what brings out the contempt for Tebow from the real NFL followers.

Tebow is not Batman he is the JOKER.

Within 2 years he will be cut of traded AGAIN because like Denver most NFL players HATE him.

God fearing and you're 'ok' to date your daughter. The two most crucial, critical skills essential to being a superior QB in the NFL.

Emotional, arn't we? I give you stats about Teabow and Vick, documented stats that you can find in black and white.
I do not remember ever saying that dogs are on a par with people, if I am wrong please quote me where I made that statement. Your problem is that you think that everybody and anybody who does not think exactly like you is a Jesus Freak OR a racist, in the case of Michael Vick. My statement about Michael Vick and the dogs was just a reference (one in many) that Vick did not have very good dicisionary powers and any QB needs good dicisionary skills both on and off of the field because he is the center and brain of your offense and also the face of your team.
NOW, what did I say about Tebow and or Vick in my original post that was not true?
My reason for liking and respecting Tim Teabow as a MAN is that he is comfortable with who he is in his life and is not ashamed to show his religion and does not care what the nay sayers, such as yourself, will say when he makes public displays of his belief in God. Tim Teabow is and most likely will never be a great profesional QB, I always stated that he had about a two year span where his mania would be able to cover for his obvious lack of skill set. Mikey Vick also has some weaknesses as a QB., no run frist throw second QB has ever won the Super Bowl. Before you envoke the name of Steve Young, remember, he had to change his style of play before he could obtain that prize.
Dicisionary?!?!? What in the blue he!! are you talking about?! You gave not one single stat. Every knows Vick doesn't turn into a mumbling disaster when the pressures on like Teblow. Noone ever talked about rearranging their whole offensive scheme around Vick. Noone ever talked about Vick not being an effective passer in the NFL. All things anyone who has a lick of football knowledge says about St. Timothy of Teblow. Mike Vick isn't a run first, pass second quarterback. The playbook when Teblow is under center resembles a Pop Warner game or a football game from the 50s. Triple Options and double wishbones have no place or business in today's NFL. That's why noone wants to invest anything in Teblow. What- a 4th and 6th RD picks? Big tradeoff. Tebow can be in the NFL in some capacity, there's some use for his athletic ability. But it's not as an effective starting QB. Elway and Tebow haters will not be eating crow for the Tebow trade. Please go back to praying to your invisible old man in the sky and quit forcing the greatness of Tim Tebow and the injustice of him not getting his due as a starting QB in the NFL. Like the name says... Tebow Sucks.

I must think that since you seem to qualify yourself as a "Real NFL FAN" that you are a season ticket holder for the Dolphins?
Or, are you one of those fans who purchase your new jacket, T-shirt and hat with the logo of the defending champions, every year?
I was at a race last Saturday and had a Giant Jersey on and had more than one person ask me if I bought the jersey because the Giants had won the championship. Funny thing is that it was a very old Jason Seahorn jersey, complete with faded numbers and team logo. I had to laugh and say that no I was not a Giant fan, I was a Jason Seahorn fan, anybody who could get Angie Harmon was a hero of mine.
Define "Real NFL followers".= Not you
Define "non-NFL fans".= You
Define "Casual NFL fans".= You, when the media and or special interest groups bring attention to a story that concerns your special interest group (i.e. Jesus freaks).

I'm a Giants fan and Sehorn sucked. Tebow will be as faded a memory soon as the numbers on your jersey.
