now you can probably say palmer will be a backup! mckenzie seemed to want to give t pryor a chance as a starter. now they hire sparano "if the story sticks?" and to top it off, what if tebow comes along as a #3?(lol). sparano may work for dmac as well if he stays healthy for a longer period of time. i kinda like the idea of sparano comming in. check it out,if two loser (oc-coaches) olson and sparano come in plus al saunders as their boss?, if they put their heads together they might have a bright idea! then, we still gotta fix the (D)! what a mess!

I think this is a good hire, so now I just hope the players can pull through with him.

well it's official tony sparano is hired by the oakland RAIDERS.
give this guy the benefit of the doubt in my opinion. we need experience here in oakland. it may work good for either starter of the palmer, t pryor deal. mainly for (OC)greg olson and probably terrelle pryor if he makes the cut. it should work great for dmac. but i have to say, if you keep seeing dmac hitting a wall and going down? he better switch starter a.s.a.p! sure, give dmac the benefit of the doubt but if we see too much of what we saw last season from mcfadden? it's time to make a switch of starter at the (rb) position. greg olson better take that in consideration. i call it a good hire!

I think it's like the Ravens saying a few weeks ago that "they will look at every position in the draft". ESPN immediately took that story with a headline "Ravens looking for QB in draft".

I like open competition, but Palmer will win that, as he should.
