No, because if they did keep their freaky religious beliefs behind closed doors then I wouldn't know who to avoid like the plague on humanity they are.

The minute I see someone genuflecting or making the sign of the cross or hear them praising jesus I know they are nutjobs to be avoided at all costs.

No. People have the RIGHT to free expression of their religion in public. That is one of our founding principles. If you don't like it, then don't look.

No, he and others can bring their religious beliefs out into the public square. But they shouldn't be upset or shocked that other people will bring their opposing beliefs to the public square too.

Ys they do. However, it is the hypocricy that is the issue. Just like the article says, many religious folks will claim that Im okay with homosexuals as long as they dont flaunt it in front of our faces. Or, how many times do they accuse us of "indoctrinating the youth"? Well, those are things that they do proudly, but somehow it is okay for them but not us? See what I mean?

When do the hardcore christians start to follow their own rhetoric?

Your choices about religion are a choice - not a requirement, not a biological imperative, and not an innate characteristic. It is a choice, it is something you can choose, and it is something which should be done in private.

Your religious expressions are harmful, offensive, and disturbing to many, many people in this country who do not believe in your version of "god". Stop offending others in the name of your religion and keep it to yourself.

Actually, it's not a "free world". Try living in Egypt or China and see how many freedoms you have there.

Secondly, the original poster has just as much right to ignore the wingnuts like Tebow, and from your reaction possibly yourself, as Tebow has the right to express his ridiculous fundamentalist leanings and hate speech, so what's your argument here?

Tim Tebow has every right to demonstrate his religious beliefs in front of the world should he desire to.

Gay people have every right to be gay in front of the world should they desire to.

Thank you Constitution.

True, but no one is trying to take away christians' rights. They are guilty of most of the tings they accuse us of, yet their rights are protected while ours are being attacked or downright taken away on a regular basis.

Agree with you completely. But just because they are trying to take away our rights doesn't mean that we should stoop to their level and try to silence them. With every noise they make, they breathe air into the fire of the civil rights movement, and it won't be until we've achieved equality that they realize how wrong they were to begin with.
