Did Elway Think to Himself Get Rid of This Guy Before He's More Popular Than Me

Anyone consider before Manning was Even a Consideration, Elway Thought to Himself, "I Gotta Get Rid of This Guy Before He's More Popular Than Me?"
Look at How many comebacks he had as a rookie, when the coaches didnt let him do much. Imagine if he had a career as a Bronco?
He would have eclipsed Elway's comeback record.
Even before Manning was in the picture, Elway I imagine was thinking he has to get rid of TT ("This dude is going to eclipse my
record of comebacks! I cant let that happen. How can I unload him!"
I think it was totally unfair to dump TT after he made Denver from a cellar team to a championship contender within one season.
Do you think Manning even considers coming to a denver team with maybe 3 or 4 wins in 2011? No way.
Dumping Tim was totally unfair. Even worse dumping him to a team where he has small chance of succeeding.
Good luck to TT. Even though I really dont like the jets.
I think it would be awesome if jets again trade him to jacksonville and he makes them a contender.
If he sits 2 or 3 years or plays a little and they dont win, he may never get a shot again as a starter. He built his chance in Denver and should have earned his solid starter status for years to come.
I wish him the best and hate the jets.

I totally agree, Elway thought throw him out there the sixth game, limit the plays you allow him to run, show the fans how bad he is and move on. Funny how things work out sometimes. Good luck Tim! Hope you get another chance!

I totally agree. Elway didn't think there was any chance of Tebow having the success he had given the way we were playing. Then throw in the limited playes they allowed him to run and he still has that kind of year in what is really his rookie season. I hope he gets a chance in NY with a coach that believes in him! Good Luck Tim Tebow and the Jets!

I agree. Just think if we picked up 6 - 8 more players at the right positions what we might have been able to do in 2012. 2011 was really like Tebows rookie year. I don't think the Broncos management was going to let that be a possibility. I believe in Tim Tebow and hope the coaches with the Jets do also.
