Don't defend the Saints. They had lost all their RB's and Graham before that game. It's over, it's last year.
I wonder what the excuse will be for year #2 of CHOCKING...

Hmmmm. The Saints suck when they play outdoors. Who knew? I did, but a certain Saints troll just wouldn't listen. The good news is that the trolls are dropping like flies.

Who dat that is out of the playoffs?

Wonder what Skip Bayless' excuses for Tim Tebow will be after the complete throttling by the Patriots. He'll jump off that bandwagon so fast it'll be like he was never a Tebow fan in the first place.

I would like to believe that. However, Skip's love for Timmy knows no bounds. This is how the Bayless b.s. will flow:

The Bronco loss was the defense's fault. It is because Elway and Fox never supported Timmy and never gave him the talent he needs around him. The O-line didn't block and the receivers are so bad no QB could win with them. What Timmy did this season was the greatest thing ever. Now, more than ever, is the time for the Broncos to clearly commit to their God and savior Timmy Tebow.

Skip will be like a bear protecting it's cub. He will come out fighting for Timmy more ferociously than ever. The good thing is that the overall media attention on Timmy will lessen and some attention will finally go to more deserving teams and players like the 49ers and some of their players. It's amazing to me how little attention the 49ers have received all season. The media will probably only focus on the 49ers for one week though.

Is that a record? Hmmm. It's kind of interesting that one of the NFL teams has dominated the AFC. The AFL never was that impressive anyhow. Congratulations on dominating the inferior conference. Imagine what might have happened if the Steelers remained with the NFL teams after the expansion. 4 of the Steeler Championships were shortly after the expansion. In fact the AFL was only represented in 5 of the first 10 Super Bowls after the merger. Wow. That AFL really sucked. It's no wonder the NFL doesn't consider that merger as being any more special than the expansions before or after.

Ummm, Dallas was the only NFC team to win the SB in the 70s with 2......in fact, between 1968-1981 for that manner...so much for the AFL sucking, eh?

The Steelers and Colts were never in the AFL and they went to 5 of the first 10 Super Bowls as the AFC representative. So obviously an AFL team only played in 5 of the first 10 Super Bowls. Why do you idiots that obviously know NOTHING about NFL history insist on showing your stupidity? It's better to remain silent and have people think you are a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.

Until you know the difference between the NFL, AFL, NFC and AFC you should keep your ignorance to yourself.

Whoa there big guy, you said post-merger, which was in 1970. Maybe you should brush up on some of that history yourself......

In the first 10 years of the SB (i.e. I-XI, yes XI) the following AFL teams won SBs: NYJ, KC, Mia, Oak; NFL (and ex-NFL): GB, Dal, Bal, Pit. Sounds like your claim that the AFL sucked has no merit.....

And if you knew any NFL history, you'd know the Stealers stunk as an NFL team and only improved AFTER their switch to the AFC.

Exactly. I said post-merger, which was in 1970. Thank you for telling me I was right, but I already knew that! And the first 10 Super Bowls AFTER the merger were Super V through XIV. As I said (correctly) the AFL teams were only represented in 5 of those Super Bowls. The Colts and Steelers NEVER were in the AFL!

And it was MY point that the Steelers stunk as an NFL team and only improved when they joined the inferior teams in the AFC which was made up primarily of the AFL teams. If the AFL was so great, why did the few NFL teams that joined them in the AFC dominate the conference in those early years? So again, thank you for agreeing with me and confirming that I was right.

BTW the Steelers were an NFL team both prior to and after the merger. Technically, they didn't "switch" to the AFC. At the time of the merger, the Steelers joined the new NFL teams (ex-AFL teams) with a couple other longtime NFL teams as part of the newly formed American Football Conference and the other longtime NFL teams became part of the newly formed National Football Conference. Both AFC and NFC are conferences in the NFL. However, I agree that the Steelers did stink during much of their NFL history as that was the very point I was making!
