"ESPN’s expert puts Tebow’s chances of making the roster at 25-percent. What do you think?"

I think he has a better chance of losing his virginity by September than he has making the team.

Lots of lonely soccer moms, and very few openings for haphazard-armed QBs.

Unlike determining a timetable for eventual death used by actuarial tables, Tebows so called chances of making the Pats is either at 100% or 0%, he either will or won't. Writers lack boldness and don't want to be wrong by picking one or the other so they hedge their bets so to speak so they can wordsmith a justification for the inaccurate assessment. No one has a 25% chance of making a team. The parameters and preferences that determine the end result require work to dig out. Unfortunately there is a 100% chance that the writers are not skilled enough nor willing to put forth the effort to find out.

Tebow will be cut to cause some drama and then signed back after the publicity... Just a PR stunt he will definitely make the team.

May not be good enough to make Pats as a position player but certainly a good enough athlete with the motivation to excel on special teams. Believe Pats have a guy who can't make it as a wide receiver (Slater) and still makes the pro bowl on a regular basis. Also, having a guy who works as hard as Tim does will only push other players to excel as well. 100% he makes the team. Had Rex Ryan known what he had and how to use him, the Jets would have been at least marginally better. Expect to see Tebow on a couple of special team hilight reels this year.

Yes, in 15 years I can envision Tebow being elected into the Hall of Fame on the first ballot as one of the greatest personal punt protectors the league has ever seen.

Practice team. Mallet has some issues as no. 2 QB. He threw some krap passes that were caught and overall, he would do below avg if Brady went down.
Tebow is not an NFL QB, Ken Dorsey wasn't, Russell wasn't and the OK Sooner QBs, USC, etc.
Tebow may be a blocking back or QB draw/pass on 3 and short, but that;s used 1 time or 2 a game.

Tebow as of NOW, is awful. He is awkward and confused. He was a better passer at UF. He can't complete the simplest pass like he did with Percy Harvin and Aron Hernandez at UF. lOST IT.

Teblow had a QB rating of ZERO against Tampa Buccaqueers backups. He sucks harder than a Key West interior decorator.

I was going to tell you that the passer rating is not a statistically valid rating because it over emphasizes the completion percentage and yards gained while not giving enough value to Interceptions. But when you are at a zero rating due to being 1 for 7 for -1yards and an INT, I suppose the actual analytics that separate QBs doesn't really come into play. So...
Never mind.
