Tim Tebow: Icon's Career as NFL Quarterback Is Not over Yet

After a season spent largely gathering dust with the New York Jets - he attempted just eight passes and rushed for only 102 yards - Tebow appears to be on the verge of being released. Full Story

Tebow is done in the NFL. Nobody wants him. Maybe honing his skills for a couple of years in Canada might get him noticed again. Maybe.

Tim has been Blackballed, he is a symbol of everything the liberals hate. It doesn't matter if a GM or head coach is a conservative, they don't want the Controversy signing him brings. It doesn't matter that in the only season he was the starter the team he was on won more games then they lost (after he became the starter in the sixth game) and went on to win the division championship for the first time since 2005 and went on to win a playoff game. We don't need to hear the endless rants about he can't pass or any of that other garbage you haters love to spew. You and everyone knows if he was giving the chance to be a starting NFL QB that again he would lead that team to a winning season. Tim can not be allowed to be a starting quarterback again because he would then prove that all the negative things said about his style of play didn't mean squat,(Because His Team Would WIN). All the bigwig, big-headed, blowhard sports talking heads would have to eat crow. So how do they stop him? Easy, They don't say: words are Mightier than the Sword for nothing and what has happened to Tim proves just that. Just read the attacking post here and everywhere every time anyone mentions the name Tim Tebow. Don't let him play is the bottom line because he would then prove all of us wrong once again. Tim not playing in the NFL is our loss not his because he is a winner in everything he does.

Teblow could be a tight end.....as soon as he learns how to block and catch. Right after learning how to pass...

Please remember, Tebow CHOSE TO GO TO THE JETS. He wanted to be at the epicenter of the media mecca. He wanted all New York cameras on him 24/7 and their journalists writing about him round the clock. What he should have wanted instead was the desire to get better as a passer and cut the sh!t and just be a footballer instead of all this outside mess.
The cocky SOB really thought he could go to the Jets with his circus and supplant Sanchez either with his skill or with his fans clamoring.
Man, was he wrong.
Tebow was told that the Jags coaches did not want him, and that Gabbert was set as the starter. The Jets lied to him and told him he'd get to compete for the starting position.

They'd better not lie to Teblow again, otherwise he'll throw bolts of lightning at them

Teblow has been lied to, used, abused. People, stop darggin' Teblow's heart around.

Maybe Teblow can build an ark, fill it with other former Gaytor players, and sail off to across the Atlantic to restart NFL Europe.

Mankind is not worthy of Teblow. Teblow should get on his magic sparkle pony and charge up Brokeback Mountain and summon Gaawd to make him an NFL QB. That'll teach 'em.

Tebow is gonna come back. He has a new agent who is going to talk him into changing to a special teams guy. Then the agent will try to get him a QB spot from there. The question is what team and which special team slot?

If Tebow went with the A out test he would put them and the CFL on the map. He would outshine George Mira.

The bottom line is that no one really wanted Tebow when the Jets signed him and only one team would give him a tryout this year. Now he's been released and no one in the entire NFL has invited him for a tryout. That tells you about all you need to know about the one hit wonder boy You need more than a religious sideshow to make it in the NFL and no team seems to think he's got what it takes, otherwise he'd be in camp somewhere.

Do you think that as bad as Sanchez played last year that Tebow wouldn't have been given a shot if the coaching staff thought it would be an improvement? They don't care about Tebow's religious sideshow, only about winning and he'd have been in there if the team thought it would help them win. Instead, they started the 3rd string guy when they yanked Sanchez because they had more faith in his abilities than Tebow's. Now Tebow was released by the one team willing to give him an invite to camp and no one's trying to scoop him up. The entire NFL must be wrong, sorely in need of new scouts and talent evaluators. Or they all agree Tebow just isn't cut out to be an NFL quarterback. I think he'd have a better chance without the circus that follows him, too.

Please, an NFL team would sign anybody who can score touchdowns. There's no vast conspiracy, just a vast lack of essential talent.

And signing him doesn't bring controversy, it brings a media circus, something Tebow never discourages. If you like the guy because he's obnoxiously in everybody's face about his religion, fine, but don't pretend he's an NFL quarterback or that he's been blackballed. Bigger celebrities than Tebow have landed jobs, but they had the talent to back up their celebrity status. Tebow si9mply doesn't.

There is rumor Tebow might head back to Denver after The Brady Bunch made Peyton look like his father's run with the Saints.
