Tebow has been a winner everywhere he has played. He took the 1 win and 4 loss Broncos to the Playoffs. Some say it was the defense that led to the wins. It was the same defense they had with Orton. Yes, they played better but that could easily be because of Tebow's leadership and desire to win. Elway didn't want Tebow because he was not the same kind of quarterback that he was. At least, Ryan can see that winning is important, not how you win. He found that out when Tebow beat him last season.

Actually the entire reason that the Broncos made it to the playoffs was because of Tebow. They were on the fast track to a 4- 12 season. If the defense was so good where were they last season, or in the first 5 games? Or in the Pats games? The D sucked. And basically everything about the Broncis sucked before Tebow took over. Then Tebow succeeded with a coach that set him up to fail. A coach that never believed in him. a GM that sucked so bad he was fired last week. it was all Tebow. Period.
The Jets fans are such idiots. They act like they have a pristine winning race horse of a team and Tebow will somehow ruin it. The fact is THEY suck! The team is anemic at best, last luster, perform poorly on the field. Are in disarray in the locker room, toxic environment and are doomed for failure UNLESS they leg Tebow win games for them. But like the Bronco fans they would rather lose games and whine, as long as Tebow never gets a chance to play and win games.

Let me put it this way: it's like there's a warehouse full of old broken yet vintage motorcycles.. Rusted flats parts missing, just sitting in there collecting dust. When one day along comes one man who goes into the warehouse pulls out a bike polishes it, greases it replaces some parts, gets it running and then drives that vintage bike to a moyorcycle show and wins. And everyone says Oh it's all because of the bikes in the warehouse. No it is because one man ALONE made something happen. That is Tim Tebow with the Brocos last season.

Tebow with his leadership abilities just might be the one who gets a very disfunctional teem to start acting like a team.

It boggles the mind that naysayers criticize Tebow so vehemently.

They seem to think that they are more savvy footballers than, say,
the Heisman committee, the All-America voters, the High School and College Championship people, Jet coaches and fans.

They ignore his achievements, or attribute his success to others.

He beats Ohio State, Oklahoma, and the Steelers....silence from them.

It is telling that Merrill Hoge and others give quarterbacks with criminal records a free pass, and berate a man of faith who, they say, cannot throw.

I just cannot understand the venom.
