Yes it did, her employer had to revamp in preparation for the oncoming requirements. She is 1 of 3 people I know personally that have suffered the same fate. I'm not gonna argue with you over it, you'll figure it out when it happens to you or somebody you know. RIP small business owners
That's just not true. Her employer could have kept her on and still met the coming requirements of Obamacare. HE IS JUST GREEDY!

Perhaps he should consider arena football. Tommy Maddox actually became a decent NFL QB after initially flaming out with both the Broncs and Giants after a stint in arena football.. Maybe a year or two in arena football could do the same for Tebow. He didn't get a fair chance in NY.

Most corporations are, they're business is making money. When something threatens their bottom line they pass it off on other people. Some business's will lower operating costs to keep from pricing themselves out of the market. If the minimum wage gets raised, this effect will increase. Not only will these people be without health insurance, they'll be unemployed too.

Those words you've written come with eternal consequences, serious eternal consequences; it's no joking matter.

Never mind the statement about Joseph or Mary; it's that statement about the Lord that hold eternal ramifications -- for your own sake, don't do that, and repent from it!

When an employee begins to cost an employer more than money than they make or save the company, they're gone.

Nothing in Obamacare would make an employee that expensive.

You don't know what is "that expensive" to any random employer. It may be enough to push someone's employment status over the edge. Unless you are in the employer's shoes you cannot judge what is best for his company.

Baloney. Under Obamacare, if the employee can't afford to insure an employee, he is eligible for a special tax break to make up the difference.

If they can't pay, they're charged a penalty fee. The fee is cheaper then the insurance so some places that use to offer insurance will pay the fee and offer NOTHING..

Bahahahahaha sure it is. It's Bush's fault isn't it? Bahahahahahaha. I can't take anybody that will defend the Obama administration seriously. And FYI, I'm not a republican either.

You're saying no increase whatsoever in any company healthcare spending under Obamacare?

This nonpartisan study begs to differ with you on that possibility:

http://www.urban.org/UploadedPDF/412675-Impli...

Midsize firms are projected to have an increase in healthcare costs, so people working at midsized MAY risk job loss due to this.

The point is, you don't know for sure whether anyone will lose their job due to Obamacare. Nobody really knows for sure how this will play out---economic models are models, not guarantees. So don't bother making the assumption that the person in question could not possibly have lost their job due to upcoming Obamacare costs.

It's difficult to take anyone seriously who's invested politically with any party really. It's all good cop bad cop or who's the aggressor or the victim for a decade or so and then they switch places and the people don't even notice or at least don't notice enough to bring an end to the wicked political game.

I don't know of any piece of legislation that's totally positive and helps everyone in every group 100% and everyone approves and takes nothing away from anyone and does nothing negative at all and offends nobody.

Socialized health care will help many people who are in desperate need of medical care but it will have ramifications to others as does all legislation.

Where the United States Government is concerned, I'm an equal opportunity hater. Going out and working and being forced to pay this tax and that tax just to stay out of a jail cell isn't my idea of freedom. The IRS, The and the welfare system is nothing more then theft. It's not up to me to work so that lazy ass people don't have to. Its not charity if you're forced to pay. I'd rather see my money going to help my friends and family in their times of need.
