Any of you that need a good laugh and example of a Tebow supporters football IQ, go to the thread about "The Pats need to find a replacement for Tom Brady" and be prepared to not know whether to laugh or cuss..

I am sure many people here realize Tebow will likely never be an NFL star, but the extremes his detractors go to is absolutely over the top.

As opposed to the insane extremes TT's supporters go to? Spoken like a TRUE TT supporter. As I've said a million times to you Catman, come out of the closet with your TT love already, you're not fooling anyone with your contradictory middle ground stance.

I usually just cringe when reading most of what the circus say when it pertains to their Tebow-Jesus.

I have already stated that one, I am no longer a practicing Christian; two, that I don't see Tebow as anything more than a journeyman QB. All of the vulgar anti-Tebowisms I see have made me sympathetic to him in much the same way I have fought internet bullying on other threads. When I see anybody unfairly demonized, I will often come to his/her aid. If all the anti-Tebow rhetoric was limited only to question his ability to become a serviceable NFL QB, I would simply accept it as legitimate expression of opinions. It is no skin off my back if TT never plays another NFL down. It is up to him to start performing as an NFL QB or else find another line of occupation. If he gets cut by New England, he should just take the hint and realize that an NFL career is not for him.

I never brought your faith into question Catman BUT TT used HIS FAITH and shoved it down everyone's throats and made no apologies for it even though we don't tune in to football games to see and hear about religion and many of us do not believe and yet you don't see us at football games saying inflammatory things about believers.

TT created all the polarization HIMSELF to promote HIMSELF and with that comes good and bad depending on which side you're on. TT doesn't want or need sympathizers or apologist, he wants mindless twits to keep his name in their mouths and keep his sorry ass employed and making him millions.

If TT didn't bring his beliefs into the equation and rested simply on his skills or lack thereof granted there'd be no hype or NFL job but you wouldn't see anyone on TT, in fact you'd probably see a lot of us who see TT for what he is feeling for the guy.

Tebow is pitching mattresses here in Denver. Hypocritically he takes the money yet a mattress is a symbol of sin, where abortions are a gleam in the fornicator's eyes, adultery takes place, same sex partners penetrate each other, etc.
But Hey, for every mattress sold $40 is sent to the Tim Tebow Foundation. The message is clear:
TT doesn't care what you do on the bed, be it choke your chicken, cheat on your wife, have pre-marital sex, give your buddy a one-eyed prostate massage...its for a good cause...Tebow

He isn't forsing his rekigion on anybody. Why don't you let him worship as he sees fit while you can choose (or choose not) to worship as it pleases you to do so. Is his displays of his faith any more stupid than some of these isdiotic gyrations that others go through just because they sack a QB or score a TD? Until they ban some of the more extreme celebratory girations of some other players, there is no need to get bent out of shape over TTs more restrained methods of celebration. Simply stated, if we ban TTs celebrations, we should also ban all others.

Yea we get those same commercials here and we got bombarded with the TiVo ones and TT, his mommy and their anti-abortion commercial. The local news is all about TT too. Anything TT related stays on their website 2-4 weeks after it was news.

G-D Catman! How many times do I have to tell you that I like and respect people like Kurt Warner and what he did for the game and what he is as a person. He IMO and what i know of him is a true christian because he didn't feel the need to flaunt his beliefs. He is secure with himself and his faith and had no ulterior motives.

I believe in live and let live and in my personal life I DO NOT go around telling people to NOT believe but they sure come to my house several times a year trying to get me to believe!

TT knew what he was doing and it was a staged ordeal his now trademarked "Tebowing". That right there should tell you what he's really about! That's why TT is called the Kim Kardashion of the NFL. All style no substance. Total and complete fraud.

Even though I am not a practicing Christian, I still find Tim Tebow's celebrations after a TD to be less objectionable than the arse wiggling of certain players. I am not particularly fond of Victor Cruz doing the Salsa in spite of being an avid Giant fan. If Cruz's Salsa is going to be permitted, there is no reason why Tebow shouldn't have the same right to celebrate as he sees fit.

Part of the religion is telling others of it. He has done no wrong. However people seem to squirm when this happens. Even people who go to church and get it from others. You will only get the answers in interviews from Tebow that you hear. It is the media that kept this going with many of them can't standing him by their comments. Having watched football over the decades there has been quarterback after quarterback thathas been given the wow factor when entering the league and within a few years relegated to bench warmer or out of football. Tebow deserved the same opportunity. he never got it. So logic dictates it is hate for his religion in an increasingly secular nation about ready to get its just desserts.

Oh no, since this is an increasing secular nation, Gaawd is gonna slap America down like Ike did to Tina.

Part of religion is telling others about it, but another part is showering with underaged boys. That's the part the followers really enjoy.

The reason people like Tebow so much is the liberal media hates him. He has the courage to say what he thinks and not let the liberal media get to him. It makes the media hate him more cause he just ignores them.
