Tim Tebow's Inability to Find Work in the NFL Indicative of 2014 Youth Movement

Oct 14, 2013 Full story: BleacherReport 231

Meanwhile, Matt Flynn - who recently got tossed out like a week-old bag of rotten meat by the Oakland Raiders - just signed a contract with the Buffalo Bills, as noted by the team on Twitter: Tebow hasn't sniffed a job offer from an NFL team since he was released by the New England Patriots on August 31. There are certainly a few quarterback-sorry ... (more)

You obviously missed the more valuable points and have no understanding of what the ramifications are of your actions.
In an earnest attempt at saving your life...
Matthew 18:6 tells mankind that it would be better that a millstone (usually a ton in weight) be hung around YOUR neck and have you drowned in the deepest sea than what God eternally has in store for those who offend one of His children (Tebow and all believers). You are doing it to yourself and ignorance of the law is no excuse. Only escape is to accept Gods pardon offered through His Son Jesus who paid the penalty you deserve with His own death. By the way, the reason Jesus rose from the dead was because death is a curse on those who have sinned, but Jesus never sinned so death had no hold on Him. Seldom explained and less often understood. The problem with our society is that it is self-centered instead of Christ-centered. The choice is yours and your future in eternity rests on it. Even science says energy is neither created or destroyed (in the physical realm, it can only be done supernaturally). Therefore, the energy, soul, who you are has to go somewhere. That somewhere is in your hands. Choose wisely. So far, not so much.

Please don't defend religion, its not a valid argument. Any way you look at it though, we are joking around. Don't take it seriously either.

Why does the bible like to quote killing people if they offend his "children"?

"Matthew 18:6 tells mankind that it would be better that a millstone (usually a ton in weight) be hung around YOUR neck and have you drowned in the deepest sea than what God eternally has in store for those who offend one of His children (Tebow and all believers)."

What if his "people" offend others? Where is the verse for them being dropped in the sea?

Double standards suck.

"When the men would not listen to his host, the husband seized his concubine and thrust her outside to them. They had relations with her and abused her all night until the following dawn, when they let her go. Then at daybreak the woman came and collapsed at the entrance of the house in which her husband was a guest, where she lay until the morning. When her husband rose that day and opened the door of the house to start out again on his journey, there lay the woman, his concubine, at the entrance of the house with her hands on the threshold. He said to her,'Come, let us go'; but there was no answer. So the man placed her on an ass and started out again for home." (Judges 19:25-28)

So the dude tossed his wife out for a gang bang? Then woke up the next morning and tossed the ho on a donkey and rolled?

Does Timmy read this crap too?

That's from the same book that insists that some geek named Noah rounded up two of every single f-ing species on the planet (all 10 zillion of them) and loaded them all onto a signle boat.

Remember the hygiene horrors of that Carnival cruise ship that lost power awhile pack? Just think of a boat with no power or sanitation loaded to the hilt with animals. Screw the epic flood--the sheer amounts of concentrated elephant poo and giraffe piss would have been epic.

Also, Mary was a married virgin? WTF? Maybe ol' Joe was a closeted fruit trying to keep up appearances.

Hmmmm:

"On the day Moses comes down from Mount Sinai with the stone tablets containing the Ten Commandments, he discovers that the Israelites have created a golden calf. To punish the people, Moses gathers a group of men and takes the following action in the book of Exodus, Chapter 32:

Then he [Moses] said to them, "This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says:'Each man strap a sword to his side. Go back and forth through the camp from one end to the other, each killing his brother and friend and neighbor.' " The Levites did as Moses commanded, and that day about three thousand of the people died.

So... one minute we have God carving into stone, "Thou shalt not kill." Then the next minute we have God telling each man to strap a sword to his side and lay waste to thousands. Wouldn't you expect the almighty ruler of the universe to be slightly more consistent than this? 3,000 dead people is a lot of commandment breaking."

I guess God doesn't like the NFL much:

"If you look in the Bible, there are an amazing number of people that God wants his followers to murder. For example, in Exodus 35:2 God lays down this commandment:

For six days, work is to be done, but the seventh day shall be your holy day, a Sabbath of rest to the LORD. Whoever does any work on it must be put to death."

You guys are something else. Try going back and reading it out loud this time. Maybe you will understand it that way. Your rendition is not what was said. The concept of ...it would be better that... Suggests in the strongest terms that your actions are not only wrong but to the Nth degree. Its an idiom. You do know what an idiom is don't you? Take a course in reading comprehension during the off season. Wouldn't hurt to read the source document you clearly don't understand and hate as well. Or you could just continue to hate on everyone who corrects your skewed thinking (and that is being kind to say the least).
To answer technically your question, at the risk of throwing pearls before swine (Matthew)....all mankind is under a curse and deserving of eternal separation from our creator, but because of His intense love and concern for the individual he paid the price, which is death, to set us free if only we will accept Hiis payment. If not, we are dead already. Rom 6:3 and 3:3 apply. Then try Rom 10:10 and chapter 3 of John's Gospel. The better read you are, the better thinker you will become. And remember, even those who have been redeemed are still corrupted in this life. They/we are not perfected yet, just forgiven. Try it you may be amazed and like it.

Yeah, right, lol. The "idiom" says what it says.

Why does the bible like to quote killing people if they offend his "children"?

"Matthew 18:6 tells mankind that it would be better that a millstone (usually a ton in weight) be hung around YOUR neck and have you drowned...usually people die when they drown in the deepest sea..

therefore....

...than what God eternally has in store for those who offend one of His children (Tebow and all believers)."

What God eternally has in store for those, hmm, sounds like death, I mean the other verse implies you would be better off being downed to death versus what God would do to you. I'm sure he wont be throwing a beer party for them or spanking their butts.

So, what if his "people" offend others? Like you belittling daily on the forums?

Double standards suck.
